Brand New Beginning

Chapter Eighteen

                    I woke to the sound of rain. I got up but instantly regretted it, my whole body hurt. I forced myself into a sitting position and gasped in pain when I was up. My door burst open then, I screamed and fell off the bed. "Oh my god," I heard someone say," I am so sorry, are you ok? Are you hurt?" I was suddenly being lifted off the ground and placed on my bed. I looked up and saw Seth looking me over making sure I wasn't hurt. "I'm fine you just scared me" I said. To my surprise I smiled and took his hand. He knelt in front of me so that way we were eye to eye. He smiled too and held my hand, "Are you feeling better?" he asked. I nodded, "How bout you? Are you ok?" I asked touching his cheek suddenly very serious. He smiled "Of course I'm a werewolf" he smirked. I giggled and lightly punched him, I looked around the room and realized I wasn't in my room. "Where am I?" I asked Seth trying to get up. "We are at the Cullens house remeber?" he asked sitting me down. I thought back to last night and remebered that I will be staying here from now on. "Oh yea" I said and looked around the room. It was a really nice room, it had a huge book shelf, the desk was huge and a a lamp was set on it. The closet was big aswell and there were clothes in it already. The bed was on the opposite wall of the desk and in front of me was a huge window with a view of the forest. The door was next to the closet door and I saw my bag by the window. All in all it was a beutifull room.

            "Whos room is this?" I asked getting up. He laughed and helped me up, "This is your room." I looked up at him in surprise. "Really" I asked hopeing he wasn't playing a joke on me. "You don't like it? We can change it if you don't like it" Seth said. I started laughing "I love this room don't change it" I said and leaned into him. He smiled and wrapped his arm around my waist, I put my head on his chest and listened to his heart beat. The door opened and I saw Alice walk in, "I knew you would love it" she giggled and grabbed my hand. She dragged me away from and Seth and lead me to the closet. "I went through your clothes and honustly you had really poor taste in clothes" She said opening the closet even wider. There were more clothes in there then I thought. "So I went out and got you a whole new wardrobe" She smiled proudly. I stared at the closet, "You didn't have to do that," I said, "I was fine with my clothes." She shook her head, "Those clothes were worn out and old" she said wrinkling her nose. "And they smelled" I looked down emmbarrased. "Don't worry I washed them and put them in that drawer" She said indicating to a dresser on the side of the closet. I looked at everything and suddenly a thought came to me. "How long was I asleep?" I asked turning towards them. "You've been asleep for three days" Seth said. I stared at them in shock, it couldn't have been three days. "All that stress and fighting took a toll on all of us but mostly you" Alice said. Carlisle walked in and saw us standing around the closet. "How could I have been asleep for so long?" I asked Carlisle. "Your body just need to reboot itself" he replied.

       I walked back over to the bed and sat down. Seth sat next to me and held my hand, "How is everyone else?" I asked looking at Carlisle. "They are fine" he replied grabbing a chair and siiting, "And how are the wolves?" I asked looking at Seth. "We are fine. Paul is really pissed off that the leach got away and he wasn't able to fight" He smiled. I half smiled but the fact that my dad was out there still made me sick. "Have you found out where my dad is yet?" I asked. Carlisle shook his head, "No we havn't found him." I ran a hand through my hair and leaned into Seth, "Well enough of this sad talk, you must be very hungry" Carlisle said getting up. At that moment my stomach growled, I nodded and got up. "Well Esme made a nice breakfast for you then you can go hunting for the blood that you need" Carlisle said. Alice jumped up, I had forgotten that she was still in the room. "Here wear this" She said running into the closet then coming back with jeans and a black shirt. She went back into the closet and brought out combat boots, "This is for when you go hunting and when you get back I will have a whole new outfit for you" she said smiling. I nodded she danced out of the room, Seth stood up with me. "Here you can change in your bathroom" he said. Bathroom? I looked at where he was pointing and I found that there was a door by the mirror. I walked in and it was beautiful and big enough for three people to stay in. There was already make up on the counter ready for me to use and  huge mirror to go with it. Seth walked out and I quickly got dressed, the clothes fit perfectly and so did the shoes. I looked in the mirror and saw how light my eyes were. They weren't there usual dark red but now a maroon sort of color. They were still dark but I could tell the difference, my hair was messy so I looked around for a brush. I found it and gently brushed my hair, it was still frizzy when I was finished but looked better. I opened the bathroom door and saw Seth sitting on my bed. When he saw me he was instantly up and at my side. "Ready?" he asked and took my hand, "Ready" I replied and walked downstairs.
