Brand New Beginning

Chapter Fourteen

I was running through the trees when I felt like I was being watched. I turned around but nothing was there. I kept running but suddenly I felt someone grab my arm, the person turned me around and I stared in horror at who it was. My fathers red eyes burned into mine, I trembled in fear and tried to break his grip. He growled and threw me into a tree. I felt the wind leave my body as I fell to the ground. He kicked me in the gut then punched me. I wimpered in pain, I covered my face and pulled my legs up over my stomach. He threw a punch right at my face again but I never felt it. I looked up but saw a boy standing infront of me. He growled then turned into a wolf. "Seth?" I whispered, he turned around nudged me with his nose. I saw red eyes appear behind him, "Seth look out!" He turned to late. My father wrapped his arms around Seth's body and squeezed. I heard bones crack, Seth shook him off of him and bite his arm off. RUN! I jumped at the sound in my head but followed it. I jumped up and ran, I ran but I could hear Seths howls of agony and my fathers screams. I ran faster, but I could still hear them. I screamed at the air, suddenly I saw a cliff up ahead. I stopped, I looked back then I heard screaming from the bottom of the cliff. I looked down to see Seth holding on to a branch. I reach down but then someone grabbed my arm. I look up to see my dad but then I turn back just in time to see Seth fall.

"NO!' I scream and accidentally fall off of the tree. I land with a thud when I hit the floor. I groaned and sat up, my body hurt but I knew I was fine. Suddenly two people were hovering over me. "Oh my god, are you ok?" I looked over at Bella. "Yea, I'm fine" I said getting up, "just had a bad dream". I got up and looked at Edward, he was giving me a strange look. I looked at Bella, "hey is Charlie up?" She shook her head, "no but he should be getting up soon". I nodded, "ok lets go inside". They seemed hesitent but let me go inside, Bella and Edward stayed in the kitchen while I went upstairs and changed. I picked the second outfit Alice gave me and took a quick shower before changing. When I was done I walked down stairs to find Charlie and them sitting around the room. I nodded at them and went into the kitchen. I'm not that hungry so I grabed an apple and sat next to Charlie on the sofa. I looked at Edward, when am I going to Carlisles house. I hope he heard me or this would be just emmbarassing. He smiled then scratched his head with two fingers. Ok, I still have time. I looked at the TV and realised we were watching basketball again. I focused on the game but didn't get into it. I smiled when one of the players tripped, Charlie looked at me the silently laughed. Charlie got up suddenly, "well I need to get to work so I will see you guys at most likely six in the afternoon". He walked into the hall and grabbed his coat from the closet. He grabbed his coat off the hanger, "bye everybody" he said then walked out the door. I watched the TV for a little longer but got bored. "Can we go to Carlisle's house already?" I asked looking at Edward. He smiled and nodded, I jumped up and was at the door in two seconds. Bella smiled and walked over to me, we walked out to Edwards car. He was right behind us, I went to the back while Bella got the shotgun seat.

Once everyone had their seatbelts on Edward started the car. I grabbed my seat and prepared myself for his driving. I saw him smile in the mirror, he backed the car out of the driveway and started his maniac driving. I looked out at the trees passing by, I decided to look at my feet for the rest of the trip. I heard Edward chuckle, "she is taking it worse then you." Bella smiled and looked back at me. I glared at them both and went back to staring at my feet. Once we were at the Cullen's house I was the first one out of the car. I waited for Edward and Bella to get out and we walked to the door. Edward opened the door and let us go through. I heard someone squel, I was suddenly being hugged by Alice. I silently growled but let her hug me, only one person can hug me. Edward smirked, I hate you Edward. He shrugged, I growled at him then tried to pull Alice off of me. "Come on Alice let her go" I heard someone say. I looked up and saw Jasper, he touched her shoulder. She let go and smiled at me, "how was your date". "It wasn't a date," I said backing away,"and it went fine". He smile grew and grabbd my hand and dragged me over to the sofa. She plopped down on it and sat me next to her. Carlisle walked in and smiled when she saw me. "Hello, are you ready for your training" I nodded and got up. "Just give me a couple of minutes to get ready" he said. I nodded and sat back down.
