Brand New Beginning

Chapter Twenty

           I stayed with Rosalie most of the day. Alice wanted to take us shopping so we are on our way to the mall. Once inside all the boys have us longing looks. Most stared at Rosalie but she ignored them. Alice jumped ahead of us dragging us into her favorite stores. I looked around for some shorts I could wear around the forest, after looking for awhile I found three pairs of shorts. "Take all of them" Alice said smiling an throwing them into our pile of clothes. I laughed, shopping is so much fun. They went into Victoria Secret but I really didn't need a new bra. "I will be over at Old Navy" I told them and walked over to the store. I walked to the jackets bad shirts and started looking for something to wear, suddenly I felt like I was being watched. I slowly turned around but didn't see anybody, just a couple looking over baby clothes and a man looking over some shirts. I shrugged it off and kept going down the isle looking for something to wear, I found a nice black jacket that was kind of thin and had a bird on the left side. I picked it off the rack, and looked it over. Alice had given a credit card so I could buy whatever I want. I smiled and threw it over my arm, I walked towards the dresses but felt the feeling that someone was watching me again. I turned around but saw the same thing, but this time I smelled the air tying. To catch any sign of a vampire, I couldn't find one. I shrugged and turned around, deciding on what else to get but I nearly screamed when I found that the man was standing in front of me. He lifted his hood and I growled slightly and stepped back.  

              "Easy kid" he said grabbing my arm. "I will scream and tell them I am being kidnapped" I growled back at him. He smirked, "then you wkn't have the information I think your 'family' is looking for" he said and let go of my arm. He dropped the smirk and looked dead serious. "We are going to attack your little family in less then a month. I'm not going to say when, that would ruin the fun. But I just came to say that you need to leave" He said stepping forward. I hissed at him and stepped back, "I am not leaving them and we will fight you" I said he shook his head. "We have an army and all you got is a group of vampires and a little bit of wolves. You are no match for us" he said glaring at me. "Who is we?" I asked trying to get more information. "No one that you know" he said smirking again, "if you knew what was good for you, you won't be at the fight' he said. Suddenly my head felt like it was on fire an I fell to the ground screaming, I could hear people running to me but before they got there I heard him say one last thing "you will come back with me once this is all over." I could feel people around me asking if was ok but I could only scream, my body was on fire. My dad wasn't going to let me go that easy. Suddenly I felt cold hands pick me up, I saw Emmett but I was also seeing dark spots. He was trying to tell me something but I couldn't hear him, I felt like I was being stabbed in a million places all at the same time. He was pushing us through the crowd, I turned back to see Rosalie and Alice looking so scared and worried, I wanted to tell them that my dad was here but I was only able to scream. My eyelids felt heavy, I closed my eyes but when I opened them I was in the parking lot and Emmett was putting me into the ack seat next to Rosalie. Suddenly I felt like my heart was going to burst, the pounding in my head was immense and I felt so weak. Once Emmett was in the car, he hit the gas and we were off across the street. The farther away we were from the mall the more I felt his power leaving me. "Are you ok!" I could barley hear Rosalie, "Who did this!" She was screaming but I could barly hear her. I could feel my eyelids feeling heavy again, I tried to make any noise but my body was still weak. "He is here" I whispered before everything went black.

           I could hear people moving around the room, I tried to move but my muscles hurt. "She's awake" I heard someone say, Edward? I felt something warm being put on my arms and legs, I realized how tense I was and tried to relax. I opened my eyes to see Edward and Rosalie standing over me. "Hey" Rosalie said walking over to me and holding my hand, I tried to squeeze her hand but my muscles still hurt. I wish Seth was here, I tried to sit up but I couldn't, "How long until I can move?" I asked Edward. "Carlisle just said that we should put heated towels on your muscles" he said. I nodded, I kept trying to move but I feel so usless right now. I forced my self into a sitting position and leaned on the wall. I gasped, and relaxed my body again, I moved myself so I could throw my feet over the bed. "You ok?" Rosalie asked, "Yea" I gasped, "It just really hurts to move and stuff but yea i'm fine." Rosalie smiled and shook her head, I smiled back and leaned back. The door opened and I saw Seth come in, I intstinctivley tried to move towards him but I couldn't. He was instintly by my side and he sat on the bed and hugged me. His warm touch relaxed my muscles, guess it's a good idea that I have a werewolf as a boyfriend. "That's actually not a bad idea, his warmth will probably help you" Edward said. Seth looked at him then moved his arms down my arms and massaged my arms, I wiggled my fingers and moved my arm with him. It didn't hurt that much and it felt better. "Ok that feels a lot better" I said smiling. He massaged my other arm and it felt better aswell, Edward came back with hot towels and placed them on my legs. I relaxed and leaned back on the bed, "Nikki, when you were knocked out you kept saying, 'they're coming, they're coming', who are is coming?" Rosalie asked. I sighed and leaned forward, "My dad is with Victoria, he is helping her with the army. They are coming in less then a month" I said putting my head down. Edward nodded and left the room, I looked over at Seth and saw that he looked pissed. "I can't believe he did this to you again" he said, he started shaking. "Seth calm down" I said trying to make him stop shaking. "Get away from her dog" Rosalie snarled getting up and coming towards us. "Rosalie" I said but then Emmett and Jasper came in and grabbed Seth. His shaking was getting worse, he is going to phase. They took him out of the room and inspite of my legs still hurting I jumped out of the bed and followed them. I heard him phase just as he was out the door. I ran at top speed and despite everything I ran to his shaking wolf form.
