Brand New Beginning

Chapter twenty-eight

                             A day had passed since Seth and I fell asleep next to each other, Emmett and Rose didn't like it very much when they walked in and saw us cuddled up and asleep. Luckily we didn't get into to much trouble. Today, however , was the day of the fight. Edward had already taken Bella to the spot where they were planning on hiding her. Seth went with them as well, I stayed behind and helped the rest of my family get ready. I hunted with my family in the morning, I bet Emmett I could get more animals then him in one hour. He got five deers and four mountain lions. I got two bears and eight deer. He wasn't very happy he lost but then it was time for us to leave to the clearing for the fight. We are walking over there, it was very quiet between everyone. Jasper and Alice were holding hands and whispering to each other, Rosalie and Emmett were also holding hands and Carlisle had his arm around Esme. I missed Seth and hoped that he was doing fine. We reached the clearing, "Alright I am going to go over with Seth" I said while hugging everybody goodbye. I am so worried for them, what if this is the last time we see each other.

         I waved goodbye and dashed into the forest towards Seth, I needed to see him. I hope he is doing alright. I came up to the cliff but only to be stopped dead in my tracks. Bella was kissing Jacob, I stood their stunned. They broke apart but she looked upset and mad, Jacob walked away and Bella went back in the direction of the camp. Jacob froze when he saw me, "She didn't cheat on Edward." He stated and then started walking away. "How the hell is that not cheating?" I yelled at him. "I forced her to kiss me ok?" he gave me a dirty look but I could see that he was really beaten up over something. I turned away and ran in the direction of the camp. I saw Edward go inside the tent where I assumed Bella was. I sneered and marched towards the tent. Suddenly I was picked up and swirled into the air. "Put me down" I yelled kicking behind me and connecting with someone's knee. I was dropped and I heard a moan behind me. I turned around ready to fight who ever lifted me in the air when I see Seth lying on the floor holding his shin. "Seth?!" I gasp bending down and helping him up. "Yea it's me, geez I try to pick my girlfriend up and do a romantic spin and I get kicked in the shin" he said chuckling slightly. "Well I didn't know it was you and I would have let you if I knew" I said smiling and kissing him on the cheek. He smiled and wrapped his arm around me. "So judging by how you looked pissed off you saw Bella kiss Jacob" Seth said. I felt my body tense up and I felt anger bubble in my stomach. "How dare that no good little-" Seth clamped his hand over my mouth. "Hey it wasn't her fault, I heard everything" Seth said. "Besides, I forgive her" we turned around and saw Edward standing behind me. I felt some of my anger subside, "How can you forgive her so easily?" I asked stepping towards him.

        "I don't see how you can" I said crossing my arms. "Jacob tricked her. Made her feel guilty and then kissed her" he said. I sighed as my anger deflated, "Not the best excuse but I suppose it can do." Seth wrapped his arm around my waist again, I leaned into him. I heard Bella come out of the tent, I glared at her but then just dropped it. Edward walked up to her and hugged her, suddenly I saw Edward freeze. I heard shouting in the distance, Seth changed into a wolf looked into the forrest. I stood helplessly, suddenly I could hear something running towards us. Edward pushed Bella back and I growled. Suddenly a fiery red haired women along with a young boy who I had never seen before came into the clearing. I took a stance next to Edward, Seth growled and stood next to me. Edward started to talk to them but all I could think about was Seth and Bella. Victoria was talking to the boy, he looked pissed. I focused on him, I was suddenly in a forest. He was begging Victoria to stay with him but she pushed him away. Then she ripped his heart out and set him on fire. I was snapped back into reality when I felt Bella being pushed back and the boy charging at Edward. Seth jumped in his way and tackled him, they went tumbling on the other side of the hill. I screamed and tried to go after them. Edward grabbed my arm, "Protect Bella!" he charged Victoria and they went off fighting in the trees. I looked out towards the hills where my Seth was fighting. I looked back at Bella and saw that she was shaking and looked extremely confused trying to watch Edward fight.
