Chapter 9

I was sitting there in bed waiting for Declan to come back from getting some coffee. I cannot believe he came all the way to Paris because he was concerned for me. I should give him a chance, but I just don't know if I can. I mean he is sexy and his kisses are indescribable not like Alex's. Speaking of Alex what the hell is he doing here. I was told that he was dead. I went to his funeral for Pete's sake. I need answers and I need them before I go back. Suddenly the door opens.

"Declan please tell me you got-" Shit its not Declan "Alex what the hell are you doing? What is going on? I thought you was dead...tell me now!"

"OK Heather just calm down let me explain everything."

"You better start explaining right now"

"Where is your boyfriend?"

"Boyfriend? What boyfrie-oh you mean Declan. Well Declan is not my boyfriend even though its none of your business."

"Well whatever he is to you I do care because I still and always will care for you. Look Heather you know how my mom is and that night, that horrible night on your 18th birthday. I'm sorry I didn't want to do it but I had no choice. My mom made me"

"What are you saying?"

"OK look my mom told me I had to break up with you or I would be disowned from the family because of you being pregnant. I called her and told her I couldn't do it when I was on my way to yours, and she told me if I didn't then she would arrange something to happen to you. I couldn't let that happen so I went to yours and told you we needed to break up. We got into that big fight and after I left I called my mom and she told me to meet John under the bridge and he will take care of everything. that's when John and some guy made my car blow up after they made it crash into the tree. I then moved here that night. I had no choice I had to protect you please believe me. Heather please you know I love you. I still love you."

"I don't know-"

"Heather I got you some coffee as well, sorry it took me so long I was talking to Jessie about his game I got him...Oh am I interrupting something"

I said no at the same time Alex said yes. Right now I don't know what to think. I mean if what Alex said is true then maybe he could come back and be a father to his boys. I mean they deserve to know, but at the same time I don't want them in any danger. I don''t know what to do.

Declan's POV

I was getting ready to walk into Heathers room when I heard her talking to some one. I waited till I heard the other person and when I did I was pissed. Alex was asking for him to just let him explain. Explain what that he is a douche that let his girlfriend who was young and pregnant with twins to think he was dead for what 8 years now. What an asshole. What pissed me off more was what he was saying or more like what he was feeding her. Its bull shit, I hope she is not believing this shit.

Wait did he just say he still loves her. Oh no I think I need to get in there before this goes any further. I heard her say something but was to angry to know what it was. I walked in at that moment. I noticed Alex right away and he looked pissed. Oh I am going to enjoy this.

"Heather I got you some coffee as well, sorry it took me so long I was talking to Jessie about his game I got him...Oh am I interrupting something"

"No" Heather said as Alex said "Yes" Huh maybe she didn't fall for it. Only one way to find out. I walked over to Heather and kissed her forehead and she leaned into it. That is a good sign.
