Chapter 32

"Hey everyone! Declan went to get us some breakfast he should be back soon."
"Mommy can we sit with you?" Jake asked.
"Yes but you have to be really careful and-" I was cut off by Declan.
"And watch her belly please."
"Why?" Jessie asked. I grinned at Declan and we both answered.
"Well, you don't want to hurt your little sister or brother do you?"

I sat there and looked at everyone's reaction. I saw tears from Emma, Tay, Kate, Molly, and Eva. The guys all looked shocked. Jessie and Jake looked happy! I couldn't help but smile. Just then Doctor Steven walked in.
"I take it they told you the good news?" Doctor Steven said.
"Yeah we are having a sister or a brother!" Jessie said.
"That's great. I wanted to come in and check an you two. You have a busy day tomorrow so I would suggest to make this visit short."
"Busy day tomorrow?" Emma asked.
"Yes from what I have been told there is a wedding tomorrow?" Doctor Stevens raised a eyebrow.
"Yes mine and I am so happy you are letting her go. I will just go home and add you and your wife to the table charts."
"That's great. Now lets listen to the heart beat."
Everyone gathered around. The boys were still sitting on the bottom o my bed and Declan was right next to me. Taylor was rubbing her belly. I smiled at her and she returned one of her own. The doctor put the cold gel on my belly. He apologized for the coldness. Then started to move the wand around then stopped. We all heard the fast beat of a heart. Just one heart thank the lord.
I looked up and smiled at Declan. He was grinning from ear to ear. I looked at the boys and they looked confused. Everyone seemed happy. Finally no drama!
~Declan's POV~
I was on cloud nine. My family had all left about an hour ago. Everyone heard our child's heartbeat and it was the best sound in the world. Heather was sleeping. I watched her she kept smiling in her sleep.
I talked to Doctor Steven a little. He seems to think that Heather and our child will be fine. It could of been worse. My feelings for Heather have grown so much. I could not imagine my life without her. I know how cliche that sounds but its the truth.
As I was laying on the sofa in Heathers room my phone beeped.
Brody- Hey man Adam just told me the news congratulations.
Me- Yeah we are so happy!
Brody-That's great. I just wanted to let you know Mary had her sentencing today and she will not be getting out.
Me- That is great any news on Alex or Heathers dad?
Brody- No man not yet I will let you know asap.
Me- OK thanks man!
I shut my phone and looked over to Heather staring at me. I smiled at her and walked over to kiss your head. She smiled and grabbed my hand. I sat on the bed and rubbed her belly!
"I really, really love you!" I told her. I just thought at that moment she should hear it. I mean I do love her and she is everything to me.
"I really, really I love you to!" She said and kissed my cheek.
