Chapter 11-Fun with the Bad Principal!

Chapter 11

I was sitting there thinking of what to do. I know I don't want him to meet the boys till I get some answers. So I came to the conclusion I am going to get those answers on Saturday. My only thought now are if I am going alone or if I am taking Declan with me. I know if I got alone Kate and Declan will get mad and if I show up with Declan that will only piss off Alex.

While I was sitting there I heard another noise come from outside. When I got up to look I was startled to find a figure in the dark. I quickly ran towards the game room yelling for Declan. As I turned the corner I ran straight into him.

"What is it? Whats wrong Heather?"

"Th-there w-was a-a guy outside"

"What! Go in the game room with Kate and your boys. I will go take a look"

"No!" I shouted at him and he looked surprised.

"No? Why not?"

"You could get hurt. He is probably gone by now"

"Well I still would like to make sure. Where did you see him?"

"By the couch in the backyard, when I was outside I heard a noise and ran back in. I shut the door and locked it before sitting on the couch, then I heard a noise and looked outside to see a figure looking at me"

"OK Heather I am going to go look why don't you settle down go into my room and wait for me I will have Kate lock the door to the game room as well. Please let me check"

"OK but please be careful"

I went into Declan's room and locked the door. I went over to his bed and laid down. What am I doing. Maybe I didn't't see anyone. Maybe I just thought I did because of everything going on. Well I do know one thing and that is I am defiantly taking Declan with me to meet Alex. I feel safe with Declan.

As the longer I waited the more scared I got. What is taking him so long. I hope he is ok I mean he should of been back by now. I got up and started to pace back and forth. I looked out the window to see a figure running and then I saw Declan running after him. 'Oh my please don't let him get hurt'. I watched till the figure got into a car and sped away. I saw Declan watch and then turn. I was still standing by the window looking out when I heard Declan from the locked door. I was in so much shock that I couldn't move. The next thing I know the door was kicked open and there stood a worried looking Declan.

"Heather are you OK?"

"I-I..." I couldn't speak. Declan grabbed me and wrapped his arms around me. This calmed me another to find my voice "Are you OK what happened?"

"I'm fine just worried about you OK? Do you need anything?"

"I um I think I am OK maybe I should try to rest. I should get the boys home"

"Heather I don't think that is a good idea. Some one was in my yard watching you. I don't think you should be alone at your apartment."

"I wouldn't be alone I would be with my boys"

"I can't let that happen I will take you to your place and you can get some more clothes for you and the boys because I think its best if you stay here till we figure out who that was and what they want. Oh and I will not take no for an answer when it comes to yours or your boys concern."

"Thank you while we are kind of the subject may I ask you something?"

"Yes sure anything"

"Well I am suppose to meet with Alex tomorrow and well I was wondering if you would come with me. i just don't trust him and I want answers"
