Chapter 26

The next day I was getting ready to go to the trial. I just finished getting dressed when Declan walked out of the bathroom. He was dripping wet in only a towel. He was shaking his hair with one hand. The other was gripping the towel in place. I licked my lips and just starred at him. I need him in me so bad its starting to hurt. I mean he is just taunting me in that towel asking me to jump him!

"I know you like what you see and all but I really need to get ready we are going to be late." Declan smirked at me. Uggh that sexy smirk.

"Shut up pretty boy and go get ready!"

We were both sitting outside the court room talking to Brody. I heard a familiar voice and looked up. Drake was coming down the hall. Ariel was right next to him. I then noticed someone was following them yelling. I now wished I didn't see that person. Declan groaned from beside me and I bit my lip to control myself. Even though I wanted to rip Lacey's head off hearing that sound come from him made me want to rip his clothes off.

As soon as Lacey shut up we all walked into the court room. As soon as I sat I noticed Mary (Alex's mom) starring off to the side. I looked up and couldn't believe what I was seeing. I mean I new he had some thing with the crazy bat but seriously why would he be here. Declan noticed that I was on edge. I nodded towards the man I use to call father. I mouthed 'my dad' to Declan. He nodded.

The trial was basic. They had pulled Declan up to question him. They pulled Drake, Ariel and myself up. Once all that was done they pulled Mary up. She lied so much she made Pinocchio looked bad. Once she was done they concluded a recess so the jury could decided on what was happening. We walked out and was talking to the lawyer. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned and looked up.

"Hello my little princess. You miss me?"

"No, and I am not your princess." I felt Declan tighten his grip around my waist.

"Don't be so rude princess, how about we go for a chat?"

"I don't think that is a good idea Sir?" Declan said.

"And who might you be?"

"I'm Declan Heathers boyfriend."

"Oh your the one that Alex couldn't handle. I told Mary to do it herself. She is slipping." The lawyer looked over at Brody and motioned him to come over.

"If I am not mistaking Sir you just admitted you had a part in all this. Officer Brody I would like you to take this man in for questioning" The prosecutor said.

As Brody pulled my father out. The other officer told us we could come back in to hear the verdict. I thought to myself that was fast. I sat there looking at the jury. The one on the end stood as did Alex and his mother. The jury read the verdict and on all counts Alex was found guilty. As for his mom she was found guilty on all parts. The judge said that the next hiring will be the sentencing hiring. I am glad I don't have to be there for that. Brody informed us that he will be attending it and will let us know.

We left the court house and decided to grab lunch with Drake and Ariel. I didn't see Lacey after they read the verdict. Apparently she ran out of the court room. We was getting into the car when I heard her voice.

"Declan baby"

"Lacey I am not your baby."

"Oh come on you know you still love me. This piece of trash is nothing to you. Her and her soiled brats" Lacey laughed out.

"Excuse me! Lacey don't ever talk about her or my children like that ever again."

"Your children...oh Declan I think you have bumped you head a little to hard. Those boys are not yours they belong to that druggie that is going to be put away for a while."
