Chapter10

As soon as we got into Declan's car my head started to hurt again. Which I guess is normal from the impact of the fall. I sat there and thought of everything that has happened. I cannot believe Alex is back, like seriously back. Just then a pain shot into my head again and I groaned and instantly felt dizzy.

"Heather are you OK?" Declan asked

"Yes I'm fine Declan just tired I want to see my boys"

"Ok well its going to be late when we get to mine so why don't you just stay and then you can see the boys in the morning."

"That sounds great thank you"

"Your welcome"

The drive wasn't to bad only a hour but my head kept getting worse. I was so dizzy that I could barely see straight by the time we pulled up to his house. I was getting out of the car when I almost lost my balance and had to sit back down. I saw Declan come around to my side. He looked worried.

"Heather are you OK?"

"I don't know. I am really dizzy and my head hurts"

"Maybe I should take you to the hospital..."

"No I just need some sleep."

I went to get up and yet again got extremely dizzy to where I almost fell but I felt two strong arms grab a hold of me and left me up bridal style. Declan was carrying me with no problem. I slowly felt myself drift off to sleep as I felt him lay me down on a soft surface.

Declan's POV

I was going to lay Heather down in one of the guest rooms but with her being dizzy, I thought I should keep an eye on her. I laid her down on my bed and let her sleep for a little while. I figured I would get in the shower and then make up a bed for myself. Its going to be a long night because I think I should wake her up every so often to make sure she is OK.

Its been about 3 hours since Heather has been asleep. I walked over to her and gently shook her. She stirred slightly but didn't wake. I tried again and nothing. So I bent down and kissed her forehead lightly. She stirred again and opened her eyes.

"Where am I"

"Sorry I was going to put you in a guess room but since you said you was dizzy I thought it would be better if I put you in my room."

"Oh um OK. What is that?" She said pointing to my make shaft bed on the floor, I laughed

"That's um where I have been laying and sleeping."

"Why didn't you just lay in bed, I mean um well its big enough"

"I didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable."

"Nonsense come on get in bed. I am so tired"

"OK but I will wake you in another few hours to make sure your OK"

"Thanks Declan for everything"

With that she feel asleep. I laid there starring at hr and thinking. I know what you all are thinking why what a creeper, but I'm not its just she is amazingly beautiful. She is the whole package any guy would want. Well at least she is everything that I could want. I just couldn't help but think though now with her knowing Alex is alive what will happen. Will she give him a chance or will she give me a chance? With that on my mind I started to drift off.

After a few more times of waking Heather up and talking for a few minutes I finally said I think it would be OK to just sleep till we wake up on our own. Heather of course agreed and kissed my cheek and said 'Thank you, I owe you!'. With that we fell asleep. I of course was grinning ear to ear from her kissing me on the cheek. Yeah I know it was on the cheek but its got to mean something right?
