Chapter 17
So tomorrow is Friday the boys are back to being their normal selves and Declan has been great with them. Jessie has really taking a liking to him. He will follow him around and watch every move Declan makes. The other morning I was going into the bathroom to brush my teeth and saw Declan putting shaving cream on Jessie. So I decided to sit back and watch. The next thing I see is when Declan started to shave he gave Jessie a new toothbrush and Jessie acted like it was a razor and started to do exactly what Declan did. It was the cutest thing. Declan smirked at him and watched.
So here I was packing the boys stuff while I still had new clue where we were going. I was told to pack stuff for warm and cold weather. As I was finishing up with the boys stuff I came across a picture that Jake did. It was a sunny day with 4 people in it, two little boys with big smiles, with a mommy and daddy. He put Jessie's name on it and his name on it where the boys were. Then where the mommy was he simple put my mommy. But what surprise me the most was the writing above the daddy. He simple wrote 'My only daddy but the best Daddy Declan'!
As I was sitting there starring at it Kate came in and saw me crying. I looked at her and showed her the picture. She just sat there and looked at it in all. I couldn't help but laugh and as soon as I started she did too. She looked at me and smiled!
"We are so putting this on the fridge!" Kate said
"My thoughts exactly"
"So may I ask you something?"
"Sure"
"What is going on with you and my brother?"
"Well I like him. I like him a lot but we are taking it slow. My boys obviously like him."
"OK that's good. I like you and I think you two are cute together. Just don't hurt him please"
"I don't plan on it"
"Good now lets go hang this on the fridge"
We started to run downstairs. The boys were in the TV room watching a movie when we ran past them. We was laughing so hard we didn't even realize Declan standing behind us in the kitchen. I don't even remember why we were laughing. Declan cleared his throat. Kate and I turned to look at him and we laughed more.
"Why are you two laughing? Oh god please tell me your not telling her all the embarrassing things I have done."
"No but I am now" Kate laughed more
"Oh god" Declan looked scared
"Oh we so have to have a talk Kate I want to know everything" I said
"A- Kate you better not say a word or else! B-seriously what is so funny?"
"I honestly don't know we was up in the boys room when I came across this picture Jake drew and Kate came in and said lets hang it on the fridge she took off and so did I and we just started to laugh"
"Oh OK so this picture. Let me see"
I moved out of the way and let Declan come closer. He was standing there looking at the picture and then he just smiled a loving smile. Kate looked at him and laughed mumbling something as she left the kitchen. I was standing behind him and wrapped my arms around him and he gently turned and wrapped his arms around me.
"They really like you, you know"
"Its a mutual thing. Are you done packing yet?"
"Almost I have to finish my bag and then I will finish the remaining things in the morning"
