Chapter 22-Best Christmas every!

Chapter 22

Its been a week since the last text I got from Alex. I don't know if that is a good thing or not. Declan tells me not to worry but I can't help myself. I have been spending a lot of time with Taylor. She is like my new bestie. Taylor and Ace are planning on moving closer to us. So she has been staying here looking at houses. Declan had asked me to move in but I am just not sure yet. I told him I would think about it and give him an answer at Christmas. Yep Christmas is in about 2 weeks!

I was sitting at Declan's office at the school. He was in a meeting so I decided to clean his office. While I was in there the door flew opened and I was shocked. There stood a large man and it looked like someone was behind him. Then the large man spoke.

"Boss he is not here, but the girl is." The large man moved and behind him stood Alex.

"Then we will wait" He said with a smirk "And as we wait I think I will sit right there with her in my lap"

"You should leave before I call the cops"

"Oh princess if you did that then this young man would have to do something to you that I would hate to see." As Alex finished the large man pulled out a gun and pointed it at my head.

"Boss why don't we take her know and just leave the principal?"

"Because he deserves to die for taking what is mine." I panicked when he said that,I just hope Declan's meeting last longer then expected.

I refused to sit on Alex's lap which he did not take to. He was so angry that he smacked my left cheek with so much force I fell to the ground. I just sat there with silent tears. Praying for Declan to stay back. Alex kept looking at me with this disgusting smirk plastered on his face. The large guy stood close to the door for when Declan came in. He had his gun out still and I knew whatever was going to happen wasn't going to be good.

The office phone rang. I looked up and Alex looked at me. I wanted to just run over there and yell in the phone what was going on. But I couldn't do that. After the 3rd ring Alex said the unthinkable.

"Heather answer the phone, but don't get smart on me now or you will have a bullet through you!" I got up and walked over to the desk wincing in pain from where Alex hit me. I took a deep breath.

"Hello Principal Colt's office. How may I help you?"

"Heather listen carefully I have Officer Brody here and he said to act like this is a parent calling."

"Oh Mrs. Johnson. How are you?"

"Good here he is." Mrs. Jones handed the phone to Brody.

"OK Heather does Alex or the other guy have a guy?"

"Yes. Mr. Colt is not in right now but is there anything I can help you with?"

"So one or both does. Declan is on his way I tol him what Mrs. Jones told me. I need you to stay calm. Did they hurt you?"

"I see. Danny is in what grade...and yes the nurse called and said he got hit today while in gym?"

"So they hit you. OK Heather your doing good. Now what your going to do is write a note for Declan stating the info you told me and wait here is Declan"

"Heather are you OK?"

"Yes, Mr. Colt should be back any minute now. I will give him the message about Danny."

"Heather I love you!"

"I will tell Danny that you love him too!"

I ended the call and wrote down the fake info. If Declan doesn't come in here soon Alex will get suspicious. I stood there hold my left cheek in pain. I didn't care I just wanted to be in Declan's arms. I wanted him to be safe. I am sure Brody has some sort of plan. I was going to go sit back on the floor when Alex spoke.
