Chapter 19-Meeting Declan's Family

Chapter 19

Last night was incredible I spent the whole night with just Declan. As you know he took me to the fair in town and then we came back to his and watched movies in bed. We both ended up falling asleep in each others arms. When I woke up he was still next to me with his arms wrapped around me. Which is by far the best way to wake up.

We were now on our way to his mothers to have a BBQ and meet the rest of his family. Declan was being quite which kind of scared me. I don't think I did anything wrong but he is just not himself with me. I heard him talking on his phone earlier asking about someone's licence plates but I just ignored it. I kept glancing over at him and every once and a while he would glance at me but quickly look away. I had enough.

"Declan did I do something wrong?"

"What?"

"Well your being quiet and your well your not acting like your normal self."

"No you didn't do anything wrong babe" Did he just, he did. He called me babe!

"Babe?"

"Sorry it just kind of slipped. I am fine just-its ok lets just forget about it"

"Forget about what?"

"Me being quiet. I just have a lot on my mind with the whole you meeting up with Alex and stuff"

"Don't worry I will be fine babe" I had to chuckle and I looked at him and his lips twitched up into a smile.

"Are you making fun of me?" He smirked

"I don't know what do you think honey"

"You are so lucky I am driving right now"

"Oh am I sweetie"

"OK keep making fun of me and as soon as we get out of this car your ass is mine"

"Is that a threat cupcake" He growled at that one and I busted into a fit of laughter.

"Your a naughty one but I would never threaten you. But I do promise you if you don't stop with the pet names your ass will be mine as soon as we get out of this car."

This went on for the rest of the way to his mothers which was about a 2 hour drive. I think I called him every possible pet name there is. I guess we were almost there because I looked over at Declan to find him grinning like crazy. As soon as the car pulled up I saw him getting out so I took this as my chance to get out and run.

"Not so fast doll face"

"Catch me if you can sugar"

"I will baby-face"

"Sure sure hot stuff"

"I like that shncookums"

"I don't like that one stud muffin"

"That one too, princess"

"Your getting better prince"

"I like hot stuff better sugar"

"Starting to get cold again heartthrob"

"I got you now my goddess"

He caught me and we both fell to the ground completely in our on world. We were laughing so hard. I completely forgot where we were at and all about Alex. Declan started to tickle me and I laughed even harder. That was till someone cleared their throat and Declan jumped up and then helped me up.

"Would you like to introduce me to your lets see if I get get it right: doll face, baby-face, shnookums, princess, sugar, and last but not least goddess?"
