Chapter 21-Love!

Chapter 21

When I arrived at Declan's I noticed Taylor's car. Good I just love her. I am sure Declan is giving her a mouth full because of what we pulled. I walked in and everything was quite. That is weird I expected some yelling or something. I walked to the TV room and nobody was there. I walked to the kitchen and saw Kate.

"Hey where is everyone?"

"They are all outside. Um Heather, Brody called-"

"Oh no please tell me he didn't tell Declan about the text?"

"No but he should be here to talk to you two. What text?"

"OK I am going to show you but you can't tell Declan please!"

"OK let me see"

I showed her the text. Her mouth dropped and hung opened. She just sat there and looked at me. I didn't know what to do or say. After about 20 minutes of us just starring. She opened her mouth to say something but closed it quickly. As a pair of strong arms wrapped around me.

"Hey I was getting worried. I thought you changed your mind and went to go see Alex"

"No I was on the phone with Brody. I guess he is on his way."

"Yep! With good news too!"

"Really that's great um well I will just go see the boys."

I didn't want to look at Declan because he could get hurt because of me. I gave Kate a pleading look before walking out. The first thing I noticed was Taylor and Ace sitting there laughing. The boys were off playing football with Adam. I decided to walk over and see what was so funny.

It turns out Taylor was filling Ace in on why Declan is mad at her. Ace was telling us that we shouldn't of done that. He also said he would of loved to see his face when I ran out of the office. Declan and Kate came out a few minutes later. Kate looked guilty and Declan looked upset. I think she told him. After a moment of awkward silence Brody came in the back.

"Hey so how is everyone?" Brody asked.

"Good" Ace, Taylor, Kate and Adam all said at once

"Could be better" I said while Declan did not say a word he just starred at me.

"Well then Declan, Heather would you like to go inside so we can chat"

"Sure" I said as I got up and looked at Declan. He just sat there and then he got up to follow.

Declan's POV

As soon as Heather left to go outside I looked at Kate. I knew she knew something and it looked like Heather didn't want me to know. I starred at Kate for a while. I knew how to break her. So I waited and let it sink in.

"DeclanHeathergotareallybadtextfromAlex" She said it so fast that I didn't catch any of it.

"Slow down and say it again"

"Heather got a text from Alex and she is scared. He is trying to get to her by threatening you"

"So that's why she didn't look at me."

"Dec she really cares for you. I can see it but in her eyes she thinks its her fault. She thinks that if you get hurt she is to blame."

"That's stupid none of this is her fault"

"She didn't want you to know about the text."

"Oh"

"Lets get out there before she begins to question why we have been in here so long"
