I got home finally
It feels like today was too long .. anyhow I was immideately greeted by rome who was very comfortably lying on his back on the sofa completely covering the entire thing
"Is that new ?" I asked looking at his rather massive shirt that was clearly hanging on his body
"Oh hey ! " Rome said quickly shuffling and sitting up straight
Giving me space to slump down at
"This ? Oh this is phi Pick's" rome said
"Why are you wearing his shirt ?"
"Oh because I dirtied mine with sweat " rome said making me give him a confused look
"So let me get this straight.. " I said and he hummed
"You sweated out your shirt .. hurt yourself and had to wear phi Pick's shirt.. what were you two doing exactly ?" I teased
It took him a second before he realised what j was implying .. hence he immediately started hitting me whining
"Ai'kao ! Take your mind out of the gutter" rome shouted as I laughed
"Sorry sorry so what happened ?" I asked finally holding his hands down
"Oh uh.. so phi Madeline is sick and phi pick needed a dance partner so I volunteered " rome said
"And that led to a an injury and a wardrobe change how ?"I asked and rome sighed
" So I injured my toes because phi pick kept stepping on them and as for the wardrobe change well I wore a hoodie while practicing so I ended up sweating buckets " rome said and I looked even more confused
"Wait .. it was so hot out why in the world were you wearing a hoodie ?" I asked sceptical
"You remember I told you that phi Pick doesn't like to be touched ?"
" Rome did he make you wear a hoodie be~"
"No no he didn't make me do anything kao I did it myself.. you see the other day even while practicing with phi Madeline he was flinching and you know he just seemed so uncomfortable .... Imagine he has been working with her for so long and still he had issues .. and I.. well I'm new I.. just didn't want him to be uncomfortable kao" rome said and i sighed
I pulled him into my arms as he just cuddled in .. rome can be scary at times but he's a big softy inside
"You suddenly want to be nice to him ?" I asked and he chuckled
"I thought you didn't like his stupid no touching and bare minimum talking rule oh what about the ban on night outs he put on you ?" I added
"You're trying to make me hate him huh ? "
"I did no such thing" I said defencively
"I don't know kao .. I really wanted to hate him because he's really dumb some times but at the same time he's sweet a little goofy even Maybe I can try and be civil with him.. Maybe we'd even be friends who knows " rome shrugged and I smiled
"Good to know "
"So how did your poisoning go ?" He suddenly asked and i choked on my own spit
"What are you talking about Rome ?" I asked after I stabilised myself
"You know yesterday you were talking about ~"
"I wasn't going to poison him you idiot .. I just over salted his food but that backfired because he found the okay food too"
"Okay food ?"
"The one without the extra salt "
"Oh my god kao you can't take revenge like this ! You should have left him starving you don't prepare back up food for him " rome sighed facepalming himself
"You know I can't do that it's breakfast "
"You're adorable kao ! " Rome said smushing my face between his palms
"Stop that !" I said as i shoved his hands away massaging my cheeks
"Anyways how was your day in general ?" He asked and i shrugged
We both slumped down further into the couch
"Uh rome " I called out after a little while
"Yeah "
"Did you know that any celebrity who dates Pete ends up getting invited to the parties his parents throw infact they are usually ensured stardom " I said
"Yeah duh .. wait you didn't know ?"he asked getting up a little as I shook my head no
"You're working for the man oh god !" Rome sighed as I rolled my eyes
"Yeah well the person pete is rumoured to date gets invited to these events for example right now if any events were to happen his co-star Sarah is definitely getting invited .. speaking of what's going on between them .. ?" He asked genuinely curious
"Uh nothing.. they're not dating" I shrugged
"Shut the front door really ? I was so sure that they were considering how much tea Sarah spills " rome said and i nodded
"Yeah.. I wonder why pete doesn't just deny these rumours " I shrugged
"Simple .. the more one denies something the more people pry on the topic he'll get asked the question more times than he did .." rome said and i nodded
That does make sense
"But isn't it so bizzare that Sarah is doing all this just so she can get some contacts " I said annoyed
"It's really not kao .. remember one of the reasons why our parents didn't be in the public eye .." he said and i nodded
"So that we can meet genuine friends .. not fake ones .. " I sighed and he nodded
"I mean his parents are one of the biggest names in the industry and these parties and events are just filled with celebs and famous people .. I don't blame Sarah for doing what she's doing but at the same time I don't like it either" rome said and i nodded
"It must feel so lonely " I sighed and rome just nodded along before he again cuddled up against me
It must feel lonely not knowing who's genuinely your friend and who Is just clinging along just to get something out of it
Pete is no doubt the biggest brat I know but no one deserve this
