"Aw!" Napatili nang malakas si Liza pagkatapos tamaan siya ng bola sa mukha. Marahas siyang napatihaya sa malamig na semento. Kasabay nito ay ang malutong na tawanan mula kina Ellen. They are having a volleyball game sa kanilang PE at magkalaban ang kanilang team.
Ellen stood in the middle of her group of friends, a mischievous smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Oopsie. Sorry," she playfully mocked, causing her friends to burst into laughter.
"You're too clumsy, Liza." wika ng isa sa mga alipores ni Ellen.
"Aww, wawa.." kantyaw ng isa, and they laughed.
Tinulungan si Liza na tumayo ng mga kaibigan niya. Fortunately, Liza found genuine friends in the person of Cassy, Francine, Mary Gale (Maymay), Belle. Kapwa mga kasintahan nina Darren, Kyle, Edward at Donny. Naging solid ang kanilang samahan as if they had known each other for a long time. She's happy she found genuine friends with equally beautiful faces and souls.
"Are you alright, Lai?" Mary Gale asked her after siya alalayang tumayo.
Bagamat nahihilo ng bahagya ay tinanguan niya ito. "Yeah, I'm fine, Mai" Pagkuwa'y inis na tinapunan ng tingin ang grupo nina Ellen. That froglet bitches!
"Are you sure?" Cassy asked. Mababakas sa mukha at boses ang pag-aalala.
She smiled at her. "I'm okay, Cas," aniya at tinanguan ito.
Liza's friends glared at Ellen, who was laughing sarcastically at their expense.
"Kaya pa?" nakangising tanong ni Ellen sa kanilang grupo.
"Of course! Just a piece of cake." nakangising sagot ni Belle at nilingon ang mga ka grupo. "Right guys?" na sinagot nila ng tango at ngiti.
"Is everything alright, Miss Mortoni?" tanong ng kanilang professor nang makalapit.
She gave him a reassuring smile. "Yes, Sir. Of course,"
Nang masiguradong okay ang lagay niya ay muli silang naglaro. And again, Ellen did a dirty trick and smashed a ball at Liza at muling napadapa ito sa semento.
"Hey! That's a foul!" halos sabay na sigaw nina Edward, Kyle, Donny, at Darren na nakaupo sa bleacher at nanunood sa kanilang laro. They are wearing their basketball jersey at katatapos lang din ng practice sa basketball.

"Laiz, you okay—" Hindi pinansin ni Liza ang kaibigang si Francine. Dali-dali niyang kinuha ang bola at ubod lakas na inihagis iyon kay Ellen, striking her straight on the face kaya marahas na bumulagta ito sa semento.
"Ouch!" Ellen groaned in pain.
Sinundan iyon ng nakakalokong tawanan ng mga team mates ni Liza.
"Nice one, Laiz." Nakangising bulong ni Belle sa kanya at nakangiting nag high-five silang magkakaibigan.
Ellen glared at them, habang sapo ang ilong na duguan.
"Aww. Sorry. " Liza mocked her and laughed. "Does it hurt?" aniya at ngumisi.
