TW - Suicide

He laughed. He couldn't help but laugh.

He'd done it.

They could finally stop.

It was finally over.

They were all dead.

This thought made Xisuma smile, a sadistic smile, a smile that came from pleasing the voices. The voices that had enlightened him so much, and now could finally have peace.

His mind flashed back to the betrayal on Keralis's face, the regret on Iskall's, the fear on Zedaph's. The last week had really shown everyone's true personality, how Iskall was first to blame, Grian was first to break, and Scar the most loyal. What did that leave him as? The villain? The role almost always diverted to EX by both his parents and the server?

He supposed it did. All the other positions were taken anyway.

"Oh god-" he murmured, a slight sick feeling growing in his stomach, as finally he could see what he'd done, the voices finally gone, letting him think clearly.  Letting him finally feel the emotions that had been sleeping through ever since he'd killed Keralis.

His friends

The people he'd have given his life for at one point

And he'd killed them.

His expression fell, the gravity of what he'd done finally hitting him. He'd listened to the voices, and everyone else had to pay the price. And nobody knew what he'd done. He'd have to live with the guilt alone.

All alone

The only one left

Last man standing

"WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS TO ME?!" Xisuma shouted out into the empty silence, the server now a complete ghost town. A remnant of what it used to be. Because of him. "WHAT HAVE YOU TURNED ME IN TO?!"

It's better this way

"NO IT'S NOT!" For the first time, he let out real tears, collapsing onto the floor, feeling as if the world was closing in on him. His helmet felt like it was slowly suffocating, but he knew if he took it off, it would kill him. Maybe that was what it was trying to say.

Do it

Take it off
Just do it
TAKE IT OFF

One breath at a time. One thought. One more breath. One. More. Breath.

One. Last. Breath.

He took one last gasp, unable to take it anymore, finally pulling it off roughly, the air rushing around his face, feeling fresh air for the first time in years.

And the last time.

He took a deep breath, instantly feeling dizziness overwhelm him, sharp pain rushing through his chest with the unfamiliar gas. It was so different and unfamiliar from the end air he was used to. It was so harsh. So cold.

He rested his head on the hard floor, closing his eyes as he completely blacked out, knowing he was about to die.

He was at peace with that.

He was finally at peace.
