After Seungmin was kicked out of the place he resided, he spent some nights at the park. Where the weather wasn't bad and he could manage. Staying at the park reminded him about the times his father would take him to the park and have picnics with him. Or the times where he and his father played in the pond even though it was heavily pouring outside. Oh, how those two would always get scolded by his mother.
Mother? Seungmin scoffed at the thought. That was then and this is now. Let's just face the reality that I'm an orphan now. Seungmin sighed as he leaned against the tree trunk, gazing up at the sky. If you both were going to leave me, you should have at least provided me with some type of guardian angel.
"Seungmin?" Someone interrupted Seungmin's trail of thoughts.
Seungmin turned to the source of the voice and his eyes widened. "Innie?!"
"Oh my god!" Jeongin jumped in excitement. "It's been so long since I've last seen you! Wait, what are you doing here so late at night?!"
"Yes it's been a while, it was quite hard to come in contact with you." Seungmin avoided answering the younger's last question.
But Jeongin noticed this. "You didn't answer my last question, what are you doing here late at night?"
"I could say the same to you."
"My question doesn't revolve around me, it is directed to you." Jeongin crossed his arms, anticipating an answer.
"Since when did you become so sassy?"
"Kim Seungmin." Jeongin rolled his eyes. "Stop avoiding the damn question and answer me."
Seungmin was taken aback at Jeongin's tone. He changed quite a bit. "Where did my baby bread go?"
"Seungmin!"
"Alright, alright." Seungmin sighed. "Long story short, I'm homeless."
Jeongin gasped, not expecting such an answer from Seungmin. He dropped out of school to help pay rent for himself and his mother. There was no way that Kim Seungmin was suddenly homeless unless something had happened. "Long story long, is what I need. Not 'Long story short.'"
"That's not a phrase." Seungmin focused his gaze back at the pitch black sky. "Now you answer me, what are you doing here? It's past midnight and it's not an ideal time to take a stroll unless you want to get yourself axed in the head."
"I'm actually on my way home from work." Jeongin shrugged. "And I could say the same to you, Mr. Know it all. Sleeping here makes you an easier target for murder and worst yet, things being done without your consent."
Seungmin just shrugged, ignoring all the possible dangerous things that could happen to him. "If I'm dead then I don't have to worry about taking care of this flimsy body. If something were to happen without my consent then so be it. I can't fight back anyways and I would possibly die from their stench."
"Hyung! This is not a joking matter!"
Seungmin turned back his gaze to Jeongin and looked at him straight in the eyes. "Am I laughing right now?"
"Get up." Jeongin commanded. "You're staying with me."
"I'm actually quite comfortable-"
"I'm not asking." Jeongin gave Seungmin a stern look.
Bossy fucker.
シ
Jeongin lived in an apartment that was only meant for one person. The space itself was quite small but big enough for one. There was one bedroom, a small lounge area, kitchen, and bathroom.
