24 Thunderous Kingdom

Keyboards clicking, pages turning, highlighters scribbling, could be heard the moment you entered Chan's office. Prince Hwang's office has already been refurbished and repaired but it'll be a hassle to carry the tower of books surrounding him to his office. So he decided to occupy his advisor's office for the time being. Currently, Hyunjin was on his thirtieth book, flipping through the pages, trying to find the information he needed. All he has consumed from reading all of those books so far was the whole kingdom's history and information from the neighboring kingdoms.

Closing the book he finished with a groan, Hyunjin leaned back on his chair, with his hand going through his hair out of frustration. "This is going to take me ages!"

"What's going to take your ages? Finally admitting that you like Seungmin?" Minho asked as he walked into the room, unaware of the two's relationship.

"I acknowledged that a long time ago. As a matter of fact, we are dat-" Hyunjin sassed. But his confidence was soon down in the drain as he remembered the conversation he had with his servant a few days ago. "Never mind."

Minho furrowed his eyebrows. "You can't just start saying something and cut off midway! If you're going to say something, don't be a pussy and finish your sentence."

"Well, I- no, we- I mean," Hyunjin groaned. "We were dating but I did something really stupid."

"You do a lot of stupid things. Please, continue." Minho sipped his imaginary cup of tea.

Taking a deep breath, Hyunjin started to explain the start to the beginning. Minho stared at his brother, not knowing how to feel. But the one thing he knew for sure was that his younger brother messed up, big time.

"When you said stupid, I thought you two had an argument or something. But not to this extent." Minho commented.

"Ugh, I know! I know I was wrong! I know that I'm stupid! I know that I messed up big time! I know he doesn't deserve it and I know that I need to apologize! I know that he probably won't take me back but what can I do?! These mushy feelings of mine still love him and I need him."

"At least you know you're in wrong but please," Minho begged. "Never, ever, go up to me and tell me about you being in-" Minho almost gagged. "Love and your mushy feelings- oh my god, I'm going to throw up."

Hyunjin rolled his eyes at his brother's antics. "Shut up, you asked for it. But why are you even here?"

"Oh!" Minho clapped his hands as he finally remembered why he came into Chan's study. "It's about Seungmin. Yesterday, I walked past him and his throat was purple, and he was clutching his chest like he wanted to rip out his lungs. I'm not sure what happened to him but he ran out of our kitchen and towards the clinic. And everyone is worried about him, they all said that he wasn't acting like himself and he was always on high alert. Something going on and I thought you might somehow know since this all started when he wasn't by your side anymore."

Before Hyunjin could get a word in, the door swung open, revealing Jeongin and Chan running right behind him. "Seungmin! He, he-" Jeongin words started to break into sobs. "That stupid idiot!"

Both Minho and Hyunjin looked at Chan, who's trying to calm his boyfriend down, for answers. "I don't know what's going on either. The moment he woke up he started to scream Seungmin's name and rushed out of bed. Something unsettling is happening though. Last night I came to see if Jeongin was in Seungmin's room and when he opened it, his room was filled with poison, tissues of blood, and used bandages."

"Seungmin is in trouble. That stupid idiot was bearing all of his troubles and pain alone!" Jeongin glared at Hyunjin. "WHERE WERE YOU WHEN HE NEEDED YOU?! YOU- You cast him away! You pushed him away from your side when you know that it'll be safer if he was beside you and not behind you! YOU'RE HIS BOYFRIEND, GODDAMMIT!"

"How did you-" Hyunjin was at loss with everything that is happening right now and the fact that Jeongin knew about their relationship.

"I'm his best friend, of course, I'll know these things. Plus I was awake when you two confessed. But mark my words Hyunjin, if you don't find Seungmin, I'm going to kill you with my own hands and I don't care if I'll get executed for it." Jeongin threatened.

"Papa!" Hyunsul ran into the room. "Mama's gone! We need to find him!"

Hyunjin picked up Hyunsul, trying to comfort him. "I'll make sure to find Seungmin and I'll kill whoever took him. For now, I need you to go with uncle Innie and stay in the daycare center okay? I can't have you running around by yourself."

Hyunsul shook his head. "Mama said I need to take care of you when you're mad, and you're mad right now. Mama even said that this is going to protect me!' Hyunsul showed Hyunjin the necklace that Seungmin gave Hyunsul.

"That necklace," Chan finally remembered where he saw it. "There's only one in the world and it belonged to the Queen of the Thunderous Kingdom. That's a one-of-a-kind gem that has a mixture between the colors of green and purple but shines like a regular diamond when the sunlight hits it."

"That's impossible," Minho's eyes widened. "That kingdom is long gone due to the terrorist attack they underwent."

Hyunjin stared at the child in his arms. "Little Prince, did you say that Seungmin gave this to you?"

Hyunsul innocently nodded.

Everyone looked at each other with eyes widened, that all expressed "no way"

"Minho, go round up the kitchen staff and take Changbin with you. You both will be integrating them and if they don't speak, do whatever it takes to get them to talk. Chan, I want you to check the CCTVS. I'm pretty sure whoever took Seungmin, has access to the palace since no suspicious activity was reported. Which, means that they might have tampered with the history of the recordings, so make sure to take Felix because he knows how to restore them. Jeongin, take Hyunsul to Jisung so he can examine Hyunsul's necklace to see if it really belonged to the Thunderous kingdom. In two hours everyone will meet me in the meeting room, we're going to get Seungmin back."

Everyone nodded and went off to do their assigned task.

Hyunjin was browsing through the Royal database with his dad's help since he's only able to access it with his dad's ID. Aimlessly scrolling through the Thunderous Kingdom's information he finally found something that caught his eyes.

"Kim Seungmin, the only child and heir to the throne of the Thunderous Kingdom. Pronounced dead." The document read.

Kim Seungmin, you keep surprising me more and more. Just who in the world are you?

this is my last time saying this but please stop asking when i'm going to update. I'm being considerate enough to go out of my way and try to post as often I can. If I keep seeing those comments you'd be block, end of story because as someone who's doing this FOR FREE and as a hobby to destress. Seeing those comments just ruins my mood... sorry for sounding like a bitch. cya in the next update
