21 illusions come to an end

this is a short chap- sorry ><

Days have passed and it was already D-Day for the outrageous war ahead of them. The Seungjin couple has been keeping their relationship a secret for now, prior to Seungmin's request. But that didn't stop Hyunjin from showing his affection to Seungmin.

"My Prince, this isn't the proper time to be making- mmph" Seungmin tried to push Hyunjin away as they were strapping their weapons onto their body.

Hyunjin grinned as he saw the flushed look on Seungmin's face. "We're currently heading to war right now and we could all possibly die. Well, that's unlikely with our set of skills but besides the point. There's never going to be a good time for me to kiss you. I might as well make the most of it before we part ways," Hyunjin then frowned, "What happened to you calling me by my first name? Why am I back to my title?"

"Did someone hit you in the head? You're a prince. Of course, I'll have to address you by your title or it'll be improper."

"But you call me-"

"That was simply because it was after work hours and there weren't a lot of eyes implemented on us."

"Seung-"

Seungmin pulled Hyunjin down, "Hyunjin, I advise you to pretend that we aren't close of any sort. As for now, you can do as you please within reason but when we exit through those doors. You must not acknowledge me in any way of any sort. If an enemy were to put the two and two together, I'll have a bigger target painted behind me than I already do," Seungmin then gave Hyunjin a quick peck. "I'll be taking my leave now, let's see each other when this ends."

Before Seungmin could completely leave Hyunjin's room, the prince had pulled Seungmin back, swooping him into a long kiss. "I've just courted you so please don't die on me so soon."

Seungmin couldn't help the blush forming on his face shyly smiled. "I'll try, no promises though."

With that Seungmin got the last word and quickly ran out of Hyunjin's room before he could do anything else.

The view is amazing up here. Seungmin thought as he got into his position. But now's not the time to admire the scenery.

"Siya soldiers will be entering our line of sight soon," Wonpil announced. "The moment you can get a clear view of them, shoot. No permission needed."

Everyone nodded in response. Five minutes had passed and just like Wonpil announced the enemies were already approaching them. The moment their foot stepped into their border, arrows went flying across the sky. Screams and grunts could be heard as the tip of the arrow punctured the fragile flesh. One, two, three, four. Seungmin counted how many headshots he got. Five, six, seven. Seungmin along with Wonpil were the only ones who maintained their streak.

When you usually kill someone for the first time you would be in shock and stunned, traumatized if you will. But in Seungmin's case, he was nowhere near it. He kept his calm as his kill count kept soaring. Sooner or later, their spot has been located by the enemies, and now arrows are flying in their direction. But it wasn't as threatening because they were shooting from below so the trajectory would be harder than if you were above. Nevertheless, some arrows were still able to hit them. Now everyone is screaming in pain. Luckily Seungmin wasn't hit and started to find shelter but at the same time trying to also get eyes on the enemy.

Blood oozing from the bodies lying lifelessly on the ground, arrows flying North and South, swords clashing together, and screams of agony could be heard. Everything seemed like it was painted black. Reaching for the last arrow, Seungmin took a deep breath, trying to block out all of the screams around him. Before he could release his last headshot he was knocked down onto the ground with a bang. His vision was blurred for a second as he quickly took out the dagger Hyunjin gave to him, getting into a fighting stance. Not a second more he launched himself onto the enemy. He was able to slash one of the enemy's legs before his vision cleared up again.
