I walked out of the building carefully just so he wouldn't hear me, but of course he did. He turned around and dropped his cigarette on the ground before crushing it with his boot.

"What's up with you today? You never work in the kitchen." He said and took a few steps closer to me.

"Well I did today." I said and walked down the street to my left so I could get to my car a couple blocks away.

"Why are you walking away from me?" He asked as I walked away. I could tell he was following me just because his voice wasn't getting any quieter.

"Brenna stop ignoring me." He said and took a hold of my wrist and spun me around to face him. I held a dirty and angry look on my face as I looked at him. Meanwhile he was just confused.

"Did I do something?" He asked and I just scoffed and ripped my wrist from his grip.

"No I'm just a fucking nut job." I said sarcastically with an eye roll and turned back around to walk away.

"Brenna what the fuck happened?" He asked and jogged in front of me to stop me from going anywhere.

"Are you serious right now?" I asked and crossed my arms over my chest.

"What the hell did I do to get you so mad at me?" He asked in frustration with confusion all over his face. The rain was starting to get heavier and I was starting to get colder despite the jacket I had on. I was also super tired and completely not in the mood for this conversation.

"You lied to me." I scolded and gave him a hard look.

"What? When did I lie to you?" He asked and furrowed his eyebrows together.

"You said you were fine with waiting, you said that if it was what I wanted then we would wait." I said and walked past him so I could go home.

"Okay and? How did I lie to you?" He asked which made me stop in my tracks and turn back around angrily.

"You said that, and then you brought in some other girl Tuesday. You lied to me, and you're a fucking asshole." I yelled as the rain got heavier and my hair got wetter and wetter.

"So I can't hang out with another girl? Is that your problem? You were hanging around some other guy that same exact day." He shouted and suddenly went from confused to angry.

"That was Ashton oh my god. You were calling her babe and had her attached to your damn hip. I watched you with her before I left and you were anything but friends. Me and Ashton were strictly just friendly, like we always are. I have guy friends and I can respect the girl friends you might have but when they are clearly more then friends that's frustrating. Especially when you tell me you're fine with waiting." I yelled and stayed still in my spot as the rain poured down on me.

His face when from anger back to confusion, and then into something I couldn't really read. He started quickly walking close to me with determination which was weird. Before I could even ask what he was doing he had one hand on my hip and the other on the side of my face and kissed me hard and slow.

I've never really experienced a kiss this slow and passionate before. It was giving me an intense amount of butterflies in my stomach and making my lips tingle. Anticipation filled my chest as he tangled his fingers in my hair and I gripped his jacket tightly.

I've never kissed someone in the rain. I've never screamed at someone in the rain either. I wasn't complaining, kissing him felt amazing, and it was almost like he was a master at it.

"So what do you think you can just kiss me and make everything better?" I asked through my deep breaths as we pulled away.

One of his hands was on the back of my head and tangled with my wet hair, and his other was on the small of my back to hold me even closer to him. He was breathing heavily and looking in my eyes for a really long time. He didn't say anything, and as I tried to pull further away from him he pulled me closer and kissed me again.

This time it was more rushed and a lot more eager. He tasted like mint and cigarettes which was something I've never experienced before. Somehow the taste of cigarettes was very faint despite the fact that he just smoked a cigarette before this whole thing.

"Kissing me isn't going to make me forget that you're a complete asshole you know." I said and completely pulled away from him. His arms fell to his sides and he got an almost desperate look on his face as he tried to catch his breath.

"That's not why I kissed you." He said while panting.

"Then why? Because even if kissing you is like an outer body experience that doesn't mean it's going to make me forget what you did wrong." I said and crossed my arms over my chest to try and keep warm.

"I didn't- I thought you were with him." He said with an airy chuckle and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"What- are you serious?" I asked with my eyes wide.

"I thought you were with him. I didn't know that was Ashton so I just.... I wanted to make you jealous okay? That's it, she's just a friend from the warehouse. She's dating one of my friends so I asked her to do a favor for me." He said in frustration.

"Seriously Calum? You're such an idiot." I said and pressed the palm of my hand against my forehead.

"I know I know, but I like you and I've never liked anyone before. This is new to me and I don't know what the right and wrong things are." He said which made me sigh and put my head in my hands.

"Communication Calum. We won't get anywhere if we don't communicate with each other." I said and walked closer to him.

"I just can't control myself when I'm with you, you drive me crazy." He said and put his hands at the side of my face and moved my wet hair out of my face.

"You drive me crazy too." I said and closed my eyes and leaned my head into his large hand while holding the other one in mine.

"I'm taking you back to my place." He said and took my hand and led me down the opposite end of the street then where I was going.

"Why?" I asked as he quickly walked closer to his car and opened the passenger door for me.

"Because I'm going fuck your brains out all night long. I'll have you screaming so loud your throat will hurt tomorrow morning." He said with a smirk and closed the door. He made his way to the drivers side while my eyes widened and I felt butterflies erupt in my stomach along with a nervous pit.
