My first doctors appointment was today. I was excited, but also nervous. I hope that it's healthy. I hate calling it "it." I wish I could call it a he or a she but obviously I won't be able to for a while.

After I got both me and Noah ready we headed out to the car so I could drive him home on the way. I stopped to talk to my grandparents for a little bit before it was time for me to go.

"I have an appointment for Brenna McClaren." I said as I walked up to the front desk.

"Alright you're all set, Dr. Stevens will be with you shortly." She said and sent me a sweet smile.

"Thank you." I said and went over to sit in one of the chairs.

  While I waited I went on my phone and caught up on anything I've missed. When she finally called me in she gave me a run down of how these next nine months are probably going to go. She then told me all of the tests she was going to do just to make sure the baby was healthy and all that stuff.

"Alright are you ready to see your baby?" She asked and started getting her tools ready.

"Yeah I'm ready." I said and laid my back down on the little bed thing and lifted my shirt for her. I had this really nervous feeling in my stomach. I don't know even know why.

"Alright this might me a little cold." She said and squirted the gel on my stomach which made me flinch because it was in fact freezing.

"So it looks like you're about nine weeks along now. The due date will probably be somewhere around May 20th." She said as she looked at the computer. She soon showed me the baby that was currently in my stomach. It was so little, it was just a little blob.

"Wow it's so small." I said in awe and stared at the screen.

"It'll only get bigger." She chuckled and kept looking around.

"Would you like pictures?" She asked and looked over at me.

"Yes please." I said.

"Okay, sit tight here and I'll get those pictures for you and check on your test results." She said and wiped my stomach clean.

"Thank you." I said and sat up on the bed and leaned my back against the wall behind me while she left the room.

  While I waited I texted everyone telling them how small the baby is and how crazy it was to see it in there. When she came back she handed me the pictures and told me that it was healthy and there wasn't anything to worry about in there.

  On my way out I made my next appointment, which wouldn't be for a while since it was so early on. I guess as I get farther along the appointments would get more consistent. The second I was in my car I went straight to see Calum to tell him everything and show him the pictures.

"I didn't know you'd be coming today." Calum said as I walked over to him.

"Well my doctors appointment was today and I had to tell you everything." I said with an excited smile.

"How's my little nugget?" He asked with a smile and looked down at my stomach as he gently placed his hand there.

"Everything's good, it's healthy and it's tiny." I said and pulled the pictures out of my pocket so I could show him.

"Wow that's really in your stomach?" He said in awe as he gently held the pictures in his hands.

"It's only going to get bigger." I said and rested my head on his shoulder.

"You're gonna be huge." He laughed and kept staring and analyzing the pictures.

"Thank you for reminding me." I said and flicked his forehead.

"When are you due?" He asked and put the pictures down on the table.

"She said about May 20th." I said and suddenly got a bit disappointed that he won't be there for when it's born.

"Maybe I can keep it in for another month or so so you'll be there." I joked which made him chuckle and shake his head.

"I'll see if I can figure something out. I'm not missing the birth of my child." He said and put his hand on my thigh.

"They said a year Cal, you can't get out early." I said with a sigh.

"I'll figure it out I promise." He said and kissed my temple.

"When's your next appointment?" He asked after a few seconds.

"Six weeks, I guess my next appointment we get to find out if it's a boy or a girl." I said which made him excited.

"You better tell me first." He said with an excited smile.

"Obviously." I said and playfully rolled my eyes before he kissed me.

"I still can't believe we're having a little baby." He said with a wide smile.

"Well with how large you are it definitely won't be little." I said and he scoffed out a laugh.

"I'm not that huge. I'm like 6'1." He said matter of factly.

"And weigh like 200 pounds." I said in the same tone as him.

"Whatever, your vagina will be fine." He said.

"That's what you think. I'm literally going to be pushing out a human, why don't you try and do it?" I said and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Nah I'd rather you do it instead." He joked and kissed my cheek.
