Jon's POV
Ally dragged me down three flights of stairs to meet her friends instead of taking the elevator. Who does that? We pushed through the double doors and ran down the hallway. We stopped at room 2H.
"All of the guys stay in this room and the girl is right across from them." She pointed out and banged on the door. "Let us in Ronnie!"
"I'm coming! Jeez Ally.!" A boy my age with short scruffy blonde hair opened the door. We walk into the boy's room only to be greeted by two more boys and a girl.
"Hey I thought you said the girl stays across the hall." I told Ally.
"Oh I do I'm just here more often. Ronnie's my twin brother. The biefy kid also with blonde hair is Frankie and the jerk with the black hair is Ty or Tyler. My name's Tiff." The girl said.
"Hey!" Tyler cried. He then turned his eyes on me. "Who's this kid?"
I opened my mouth but Ally spoke instead, "He's cool guys. He's a Haddock."
They all froze and Tiff broke the silence, "No way! That's so cool..."
Ronnie punched his sister in the shoulder, "Moron! He's obviously a Haddock! Look at his hair! And his eyes!"
"Yeah I'm a Haddock all right." I stated.
Tyler asked, "Sooo are you THE Haddock or are you just a Haddock?"
"I don't follow..." I replied.
Tyler sighed, "I mean are you the direct descendant of Hiccup or are just some lousy cousin with the name?"
"I'm the direct descendant of Hiccup. My parents even gave me his horrible middle name." I muttered.
They all burst out laughing, "Jonathan Horrendous Haddock!!!!!"
"It's not funny!" I stammered.
Ally stood up, "He's the real deal. He believes the myths and everything!"
Ronnie smirked, "Welcome to the gang Haddock!"
"I have a name! My name is Jon!!!!!" I shouted.
Ronnie backed off, "He's got his temper too..." I glared at him. "Be cool. Be cool."
Tyler asked, "So what did the almighty Hiccup pass down in your family?"
"I got a butt ton of money. And the Book of Dragons!" Their jaws dropped. "But! It's not translated yet! I'm talking ancient Norse and as soon as I get the textbook and I'll be translating the whole book!"
Their jaws were still dropped frozen in shock. I don't know why it's a big deal.
