Ally's POV
"He's up!" I shouted to the gang and the other group of kids. "Get Brandt and Tyler out of there!" I ordered the twins.
They flew their dragons over to the Red Death and got him out of there. I started flying away from dragon but it opened its mouth starting to pull Sky and I in. BOOM!
Jon's POV
Shadow and I dived at the dragon shooting a plasma blast at its jaw. Sky spun out and Ally fell off. Shadow flipped on his back turning around and caught Ally.
"Did you get her?!" I asked.
He looked down and nodded. We dropped her off by the villagers and we flew up into the sky.
"Come on Shadow! We have history to repeat!" I shouted.
We dove down at the Red Death with Shadow firing a plasma blast into its shoulder. The dragon fell to the ground. Angry. It opened its wings and took after us. We zig zagged through the sea stacks. I looked at the clouds. They were dark and covered the sky in a thick blanket.
"Okay Shadow, time to disappear!" I told him. I hung on to his neck tighter (still no saddle) as he flew up to the dark thick clouds beating his wings strongly.
The dragon followed us up to the clouds. It opened its mouth and fired.
"Watch out!" I shouted and Shadow weaved in and out of the flames.
We soon disappeared and the Red Death was furious, blowing flames randomly. Shadow dived firing a plasma blast and disappearing in the clouds again. He fired. Again and again. Only to disappear in the clouds again.
"Come on!" I shouted at the dragon as we flew in front of it. It snapped its jaws at us.
Shadow dived down and I hung on tightly. The dragon opened its mouth ready to fire at us clearly enraged. At my command Shadow flipped on his back firing a plasma blast into its mouth. Fire exploded in the mouth. We pulled up weaving in and out of the spikes of the dragon. Fire surrounded us due to the Red Death crashing into the ground.
In one last effort the dragon swung it's spike ball tall at us knocking me off of Shadow, "No!" I fell into the fire with Shadow diving after me roaring. Everything went black.
Ally's POV
I saw Jon fall into the explosion with Shadow diving after him. Fast. "No..."
The smoke cleared and Asmund was wondering around looking for the boy that saved us all. Asmund rushed forward to a black figure lying on the dragon. Shadow. Jon wasn't there.
"Shadow...I'm so sorry..." I heard him mumble. Shadow moaned opening his eyes. "I'm so sorry..." Shadow unraveled his wings revealing Jon's body caught in his legs. Asmund grabbed his body gently from Shadow's legs holding Jon close listening for a heartbeat. "He's alive! You saved him!"
The crowd cheered in joy and Bard walked up to the chief, "Well most of him."
