Jon's POV
Shadow and I found a good spot to hide him and I promised him I would visit him everyday. As I walked back to my dorm room I thought about what was going to happen now. If dragons were meant to come back what for then? Is society supposed to change or something?
I walked into my room and collapsed on my bed of exhaustion. Tomorrow was Saturday and I was going to go to the library, draw Shadow, and go flying with him. I closed my eyes and fell into a dream less sleep.
The next morning in the middle of the night I woke up to a racket. I sat up and looked around. No one was in my room. I went to my window and saw Shadow hanging on to the ledge with his paws.
"Shadow what are you doing here?!" I whispered furiously.
He squeezed through the window and flopped into my room with a big THUMP. His head touched my hand and we were sucked into a vision.
I turned to Hiccup who was standing there waiting for me, "You can't just keep bringing me into visions! I have questions for you!"
"Good." He crossed his arms waiting for me.
"You said the time for dragons is coming again. But why?! What's the purpose?!" I asked.
"To start over..." He whispered.
"What do you mean????" I asked raising my eyebrows.
"A new life Jon. I told you history is repeating itself. You and your friends will have to leave. Leave your school. Fly to Berk and everything will go on from there." Hiccup said.
"Wait what?!" I shouted. "We can't just leave!"
"You have to. Shadow depends on you. If you stay in this world all of the dragons will die and wait another few thousand years. By then...it'll be too late." Hiccup disappeared into the shadows and I was sucked back into the real world.
"Come on Shadow!" I put on some real clothes and packed my essentials. The Book of Dragons, all of my drawings, etc. We quietly stepped out into the hallway. I went across the hall and knocked on Ally's door.
Ally opened the door, "What do you-" She looked at Shadow. "Come in. Quickly."
Shadow and I walked into her room. I'm surprised Shadow fit through the door. I don't even know how he fit through my window.
I leaned on the window ledge crossing my arms and Shadow sat next to me. "I told you they would come back."
"Okay okay you were right." She raised her arms in defeat.
"Look I'll get to the point. We have to leave. Now. Go to Berk. And everything will run its course from there." I stated.
"What do you mean????" She asked.
"Hiccup has been coming into my dreams and he told me we need to leave. The dragons came back for a reason. We have to let history run its course." I explained.
She nodded, "Okay I'll pack my stuff and text the gang."
