Jon's POV
Ally pulled away in shock. "No way! You can't be serious!"
I nodded, "I am. Come on let me show you!" I pulled her to my bed and unzipped my bag. I gently pulled out the book and set it on my desk. She reached to open it but I shook my head. "Not yet. It's not translated yet. Ally the book is thousands of years old. Very delicate."
She nods understanding my reasoning. Ally stayed in my room and helped me unpack my bags.
She found my sketchbook, "What's this?"
I rushed to her side, "Oh it's just some drawings. I saw them in the book. I drew them from memory."
"They're amazing." She flipped through the book and stopped at the one picture I have of a Deadly Nadder. "Deadly Nadder..."
"It's the only other dragon breed I know. I drew this one because it was Astrid's dragon, who was married to Hiccup." I stated.
"I heard about Astrid's story. It's been passed down in my family for centuries." She whispered.
"This book. And the myths. Is all I have left of Hiccup." I muttered.
She looked at her watch, "Oh I'm late!"
"For what?! We just got here!" I asked.
"I'm supposed to meet up with my friends! Come on you'll love them!" She dragged me out of my dorm and we ran down the hallway.
