Jon's POV The Next Day

I walked into my ancient Norse class. I was the first one there. It was quiet. I spoke too soon. My friends walked in, Ronnie and Tiff arguing.

Ally shouted, "Shut up!"

That was my cue, "Hey guys!" I waved them over. They all sat next to me or in front of me or behind me.

Ally replied, "Hey Jon! So I take you heard us coming?"

"Oooooooh yeah." I chuckled.

Students filed in to the classroom one by one as the teacher shouted, "Take your seats! We'll begin momentarily!" Everyone sat down and the teacher wrote on the white board, Book of Dragons. I perked up immediately. "The Book of Dragons is an entire book filled with every known fact about every known dragon that there was, according to myths. Now raise your hand if you believe in these myths." Only the gang and I raised our hands. "Ah good. Anyway the Book of Dragons is in ancient Norse which we will be learning. It is said that the facts about dragons use to be deadly and dangerous ones but thanks to Hiccup he changed all of that. According to myths he changed the world for both men and dragons. His journal is said to be documented in the back of the book."

Ronnie slapped me on my shoulder whispering, "Did you hear that?!"

"Can it Ronnie!" I whispered back.

The teacher looked in our direction, "Is there something you want to say?"

I shook my head.

He waved me on, "Spit it out boy."

"Well, do you believe the book actually exists?" I asked nervously. Ally gave me a look. I mumbled to her. "We have to try."

"I do not. All of this talk is just a myth. Do you believe the book exists?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

I nodded, "There's one more thing."

"What is it?" He asked.

"Do you believe in reincarnations or direct descendants?" I wondered rubbing the back of my neck.

"You're a Haddock aren't you?" The teacher questioned.

I nodded and people looked at me.

"I expect great things out of you in this class."

Oh great.
