Jon's POV

Asmund walked up to me patting me on the shoulder, "No but you were close." He pause for a moment. "So what do you think?"

"It's...it's amazing." I said. Ally punched me in my shoulder causing me to stagger. "Ow! What the hell?!"

"That's for scaring me!" She said. She pulled me into a kiss on the cheek. "That's for...everything else."

"I could get used to it..." I said.

"Night Fury!!!"

"Get down!!!"

Shadow jumped on top of them knocking them over and crawled over to me. I rubbed his head. Bard placed a saddle in my arms.

"I figured you would need one especially with that leg of yours. That's my work too. You should come by in the forge. I could teach you how to make saddles. Ally has shown me some of your drawings. You got real talent kid." He said.

I smiled, "Thanks!"

Ronnie and the rest of the gang along with the others ran up to me. Group hug.

Frankie spoke up, "I thought you were dead!"

"No I'm not dead. Here to stay." I said.

Brandt said, "You didn't have to do that Jon."

They all stepped away looking at me. Blake the girl of the other group spoke, "Yeah! You really didn't have to do that for us! We're vikings! We could've handled it!"

The gang and I exchanged glances then we broke out laughing, "You wouldn't have gotten anywhere without dragons!"

Keara the girl twin of the other group replied, "Hey! That's mean!"

"But true!" Tiff said.

Ally put her hand on my shoulder, "You ready?!"

"For what?!" I asked.

She grinned, "To fly!"

This is Berk. It snows nine months of the year and hails the other three. Any food that grows here is tough and tasteless. The people that grow here are even more so. The only upside are the pets. While other places have ponies or parrots we have...dragons.

Berk is safe now thanks to me. And Hiccup. My friends and I, we're the descendants. And we were sent here to keep Berk safe. That's how I intend to keep it.
