even though the whole area could be filled with the sounds of how the wind blew to our ears, the horns from the different vehicles in the nearby highway, some screams and talks from other people and even how the water flew along the current of the wind. . still, the silence could be this defeaning like as if we do really done an argument none of us wanted to admit who's at fault nor none of us wanted to understand the situations.

though, he said his sorries and i had accepted his apology, the atmosphere we both dont know could happened was still lingering between us and it was enough to feel that there's a tension creeping the spaces of our surroundings. i kept my eyes in front while playing with my empty banana milk just like what he was doing. i should be getting bored right now, but even though we had this tension between us, my body still glued on my spot and those doesnt want to move even an inch.

and since the silence was surrounding the spaces between us, it was enough for the both of us to hear the unwanted sound of my stomach and i just shut my eyes firmly after hearing how loud it was. i heard junhui trying to control his laughter but when my stomach growled again, he let those out as he laughed so loud. . and that very moment, the tension and the awkward atmosphere we had in between suddenly faded as range boiled inside of me because of how embarrassed i was for making that kind of noise!

i was starving! and i just remembered that i haven't eaten any proper meal today because of how hectic and packed my sched was and i was running out of time already.

"im starving! hindi sapat yung banana milk!" i argued and finally glared at him after what happened to us awhile ago that we didnt know it could happen. grabe.

he bit his lower lip still trying to control his laughter. "choosy ah. di nabusog sa banana milk na bigay ko." he shook his head after still trying to stifle his laughter.

i rolled my eyes on him. "of course it wouldn't be enough!" after rolling my eyes, i tried to stood up already and got back to the dorm to eat because i was totally hungry right now.

"where are you going?"

i jerked my head at him. "uuwi! nagugutom na ko!"

"lets eat dinner together!" he stood up too, sounded excited about the idea that popped out inside his head. when he realized that i was staring at him, he pursed his lips. "i mean. . dinner? outside? it wasnt a date. im also hungry." his voice was slow like he was picking the right words to say so that i wouldn't misunderstood it.

the side of my lips rose up. "why? did i said anything that it was going to be a date? wala naman diba? defensive ka ah." the smirk on my face didnt fade but i laughed after seeing how his ears turned red. he was so cute. "come on, im hungry."
