Chapter 19

"Taehyung hyung? Is it really you?"

"Umm....who are you?" Taehyung asked

"You are Taehyung right?" The unknown man asked and Taehyung nodded.

"Hyung did you already forgot me? I'm Jungkook. Remember your best friend Jungkook? The one you used to play video games with?" The man who identified himself as Jungkook asked.

"Sorry I don't know any Jungkook. You must have mistaken me for someone else" He said.

"Oh, I apologise. You look very much like my best friend, in fact, even your names are alike." He said.

"Ah it's ok"

"I apologise again for wasting your time" Jungkook bowed and went away.

'Shit I forgot to ask Taehyung about what Jin said! Never mind I'll ask him tonight. And this is like the 4th person who seems to know Taehyung.  I really want to find out about his past. Taehyung is really a very mysterious man, not that I'm complaining though. His mysteriousness is one of the things that makes him attractive for me. Like have you ever looked at someone and wondered what is going on inside their head?' I thought while staring blankly at nothing.

"Helllooooo!!! Earth to Y/N" Taehyung said waving his hands in front of me making me jump. "Were you thinking about me?" He added giving a teasing smirk.

"Haha you wish. Let's get going"

*Dinner time at my home*

"Taehyung can I ask you something?"

"You already did ask me something right now but ok go on" He joked.

'Should I ask him now? What if he will hate me for invading his privacy? No, I must do this. I have to ask him about it.'

"Earth to Y/N, you've been zoning out a lot today. Ask your question and don't be scared I won't hate you or anything. And we'll also get to know each other a bit more." He smiled at the end.

"Ok. Then tell me about your background and past a bit. If you don't mind."

"My background and past?"

"Yeah, I wanna know about your family, what job you do, you know all these things and in return, you can ask me these questions too"

"Ok. So about my family...I was adopted from an orphanage when I was about 5. I grew up with my brother. We used to do everything together, share our secrets with each other, play pranks on our friends" He said with a sad smile " We were like best friends, inseparable but after we became adults he started to grow distant. When I confronted him about it he just pushed me away. We went on our own ways after that."

"I'm so sorry about that," I said holding and rubbing in circles on the back of his hands to comfort him.

"It's not your fault anyway," He said and smiled a melancholic smile. "Now tell me about you"

"Umm...I'm an only child of my parents, I work as a photographer, my best friends are Jisoo and Minji. Do you want to know how I met them?"

He stiffened at the sound of Minji's name but smiled and said "Yeah, go on tell me"

So I told him how we met in our high school during a food fight in the canteen and how we got detention together and bonded with each other. We continued having dinner, making small talks and such.

"Do you know about the other Kim Taehyung?" I asked, "You know the one people confuses you with?"

"No. I'm curious to know about him myself" He said and I nodded 'So he doesn't know about the other Kim Taehyung'

"I gotta go now," Taehyung said and left.
