Chapter 8

"Boo!!" Someone jumped from behind a tree and shouted. As I stepped back in shock while holding my chest.

"Hey, why did you do that?" I asked. "I'm sorry but your expression was priceless!" Taehyung laughed and I laughed along with him.

"I haven't seen you for a long time. Were you busy?" I asked "Yeah. Do you still keep coming here?"

"Yes. Before I forget can I please have your number so that we can keep in touch?"
"Uh...sorry but I just bought a new phone and I left it at home so I don't remember my number."
"Ah, it's fine."

"Hey come I've got something to show you!" He exclaimed as he pulled my hand excitedly. "Calm down I'm coming" I chuckled.

After walking for a few distance we stopped. "Close your eyes" He said. "Why?" "Just close it, please" "Fine" As I closed my eyes. "And no peeking," He said when he noticed me trying to peek. "Ugh ok"

We continued walking and then stopped. 'Where the heck is he taking me. Wait,I smell something very good. It's flowers perhaps. Did he bring me to a garden or something?'

"You can open your eyes now," He said. I gaped at the scenery in front of me when I opened my eyes. It was a meadow in the middle of the forest.

"Wow! it's beautiful" I said. "I know right?"
"Are these bluebells? They're so beautiful" I said and he nodded in reply.

We sat under a tree there for some time in silence admiring the view. I looked at Taehyung sitting there with his eyes closed. 'Oh, he's asleep'.

I took this time to admire him. He wore a calm expression as he slept. His long eyelashes, cute nose, plump kissable lip were perfect. He looked just like an anime character. His skin was dewy and looked soft that I couldn't resist stroking his cheeks.

Big mistake. I shouldn't have done that because as soon as my hand came in contact with his cheek his eyes opened.

I retracted my hand and looked away quickly, my face heating up because he caught me staring. "You know you can take a picture of me if you want. It'll last longer" he smirked.

"Yeah yeah whatever, I wasn't staring," I said.

"Wake up" I heard. "Y/N wake up" I rubbed my eyes to see who woke me up. "It's getting late, we should get back home," Taehyung said. I nodded and stood up brushing the dirt from my clothes as I stood up. I guess I fell asleep. 

"Let's go," I said and we walked towards home.

"Why don't you come inside?" I offered him. "Nah, it's not necessary"

"Please." I requested. "Okay," He said and came inside.  

"I'm sorry if the house is a mess" I apologetically smiled. "It's fine. I bet my house is a bigger mess than yours haha" He smiled and sat on the couch.

We stayed in awkward silence again. 

"Wanna watch a movie?" I asked after a couple of minutes. "Yeah"

"Why don't you pick a movie?" "Umm...what about a horror movie, 'The Ring'? He suggested. "

"'The Ring'?" I smiled nervously and he nodded. Horror movies are not my thing. Nope, nu-uh I once watched 'The Ring' with Jisoo and I couldn't sleep alone for days. Nope, not gonna work.

"Can't we watch another movie? You know like Despicable Me or Boss Baby or The Incredibles hehe." "Y/N..are you scared?" He asked teasingly. 

"What? Scared?..pfftt nope. Not at all. I can watch 'The Ring'. Besides ghosts are not real." 

"Sure, whatever you say." He smiled.

We watched the movie while eating the pizza that we ordered.

I moved closer to Taehyung so that we were now cuddling, as I watched the scene:

The TV's power flicks on, an image of Samara's well frozen on the screen. An image that the power button can't stop. While the phone rings incessantly, Noah's captivated by the figure emerging from the well. Samara, dishevelled hair obscuring her face, slowly edges closer to the screen until she's able to crawl out of the TV and into his studio. 

"Nooo, it's getting scary" I whined hid my face in his chest. "Tell me when this scene ends." 

"I thought you were not scared" He chuckled. 

"Do you want to watch something else?" He asked. I nodded.

"Let's watch... 'Zootopia'" 

"Ok"

Taehyung's POV

I felt a weight on my shoulder. I looked to my side to see Y/N sleeping with a pout. "Cute" I muttered under my breathe.
