Chapter 21

Seokjin's POV

I checked my phone after coming out of the bathroom and I saw many missed calls from Y/N. I tried calling back but she didn't pick up. I sensed something was wrong so I went to wake Jisoo up and ask her she knew Y/N's whereabouts.

I entered the room to see her lying on the bed, asleep. I sighed and yelled to wake her up. "WAKE UP SLEEPYHEAD!!!"

"Why are you waking me up so early in the morning?" She mumbled through her pillow. "Jisoo...IT'S FREAKING 1 IN THE AFTERNOON!!!!"

"Yeah, exactly my point. Now please if you don't have anything more to say except nagging me about the importance of waking up early then I'll be going back to sleep"

"It's important, it's about Y/N!" I said and immediately Jisoo sat up straight on her bed at the mention of her friend's name.

"What about Y/N? Did something happen to her?"

"She called me multiple times in the morning but I couldn't pick up the phone as I was in the bathroom and now when I called her back she didn't pick up the call. I think something's wrong"

"You don't think she's in trouble right?" Jisoo asked in worry.

"I'm not sure. Did she go anywhere today?"

"Umm........Oh yes, she probably went to Minji's house. "

"Can you call Minji and ask about her?"

"Yeah of course" She answered and quickly called Minji.

Jisoo's POV

I called Minji to ask her about Y/N but even after multiple tries, she didn't pick up.

"She is not picking up," I said.

I tried calling her again one last time and thankfully she answered.

"Hello," Minji said on the other side of the call connection.

"Minji, is Y/N at your house?"

"No, she left a while ago. Why?"

"She's not answering her phone. I'm worried about her"

"Don't worry. Maybe she might have entered the library and got lost in reading a book. You do know how much she loves reading books"

"Yeah ok. Bye," I said and cut the call.

"So what did she say?"

"Y/N left her house a while ago. Hey why don't we check the library, Y/N loves reading books so she might have gone there"

"Ok get ready, quick."

I nodded as he went out of the room to get the car ready. I brushed my teeth in a hurry and quickly got dressed and yeah I didn't bathe. The things I do for Y/N.

I ran to the car and got inside it and we drove to the only library in the city.

Even though Minji tried to assure me about Y/N's safety it still didn't seem like Y/N to not pick up her calls nor reply to her texts. And her phone is always kept charged so there is no chance that her phone might be low in battery. There is definitely something wrong. My gut feeling says and no it's not the pizza I ate yesterday.

When we reached the library, we asked the librarian there who knew Y/N well if she had visited the library today, but the librarian said she didn't. Next, we decided to check her house.

We knocked on her door when we reached her house only to find the door open. We carefully went entered the house and examined the living room trying to find the person who might have gotten into the house.

"Why are you two here?" A male voice questioned us, making us jump in surprise and we turned around to face the speaker.

"Taehyung?! What are you doing here?" Jin asked.

"I swear to god that you are dead if you have done anything to Y/N" I warned Taehyung while doing a karate pose even though I didn't even know the basics of karate but he doesn't need to know that and maybe the pose might intimidate him.

"Y/N? Did anything happen to her?" He asked, worry laced in his voice.

"She is not answering her calls" My brother replied calmly. Then suddenly we heard some noise in the entrance hall. We headed towards the noise only to find Y/N weakly leaning on the doorframe. She slowly started walking towards us but fainted in the middle.
We hurriedly ran towards her to help her up. Taehyung carried her to her bedroom and laid her down on the bed. I brought the first aid kit and started treating her wounds.

"What do you think had happened to her?" Taehyung asked.

"I don't know. Her body wounds show signs of struggle. But we can only find out more when she gets her consciousness back." Jin answered. So we waited in the bedroom for her to wake up again.
