Chapter 23

Y/N's POV

"What?" I asked "Tae it's not the right time joke"

"I'm not joking" He sighed. 

"How can we believe you for sure?" Jin asked "Tell us everything about how Taehyung was killed"

"Ok"

***Flashback*** 

3rd person POV

"Jeon Jungkook and Kim Taehyung, how many times do I have to tell both of you to not throw food on the floor nor at each other!!!" Jin yelled as he entered the room. He saw both of the aforementioned males throwing food at each other.

"HE STARTED IT!!!" Yelled Jungkook.

"NO, YOU DID!!!!" Taehyung yelled back. 

"STOP IT BOTH OF YOU!!!!!!!" 

"NOOO IT'S FUN" 

"JOIN US TOO HYUNG" Jungkook shouted and threw some fries at Jin.

"You little shit"

"Oops?" Jungkook said and tried escaping the room but Jin closed the door and took some handful of fries that were on the floor and said while smirking evilly"You shouldn't have done that Jungkookie" 

All of them started throwing fries at each other while laughing. They were having fun when Taehyung's phone began to ring. He excused himself and walked out of the room. He came after a while.

"Was that your girlfriend Taehyungie?" Jin teased him.

"Yes," Taehyung replied with a goofy smile.

"Someone's in love~~~" Jungkook sang.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. I have to go, she wants to meet me" He said as he threw on a jacket over his cloth.

"At this time? It's very late at night" 

"Hyung we're not kids anymore. Don't worry"

"Ok"

"See ya" Taehyung waved and left.

Taehyung's POV

"So you want to tell me something?" I asked her as I started the car again.

"Yes," Minji replied, "But can we go to the house you bought for us first?"

"As you wish princess," I said making her giggle and then drove to the house.

We got there after a while. We got out of the car.

We entered the house and turned on the lights. "We're here," Minji said as my brother Jungwoo came forth from another room while holding a sinister smile. 

"Good to see you here brother," He said.

"What are you doing here Jungwoo?" I asked, I didn't have a good feeling about it. Jungwoo and I were not on the best terms ever since my father told us that I'll inherit the family's property.

"Oh don't act like you don't know. I want you to sign these papers so that the property will be mine" Jungwoo said while handing me some papers and a pen.

"You seriously think I'll sign it? Father was right about not trusting you with the property."

"You know nothing about what father thinks about me. I can't believe father gave you the property even though you are adopted" He scoffed but gave a sinister grin again "But now the property will be mine once you sign the papers"

"Uhhh no. I'm not gonna sign the papers" 

"Oh, you will," Minji said and held a dagger near my throat.

"What are you doing Minji?" I asked in disbelieve.

"I'm sorry Taehyung but I don't actually love you. I met Jungwoo way before I met you and we started going out together. When we heard that your father will give the property to you and not Jungwoo he was saddened and angered and I didn't like seeing him like that so we hatched a plan on getting back the property."

"It's just a joke right?" I chuckled uneasily. 

"Oh, so naive," Jungwoo mockingly said as I started moving back.

"I didn't mean to do this. I don't have any hard feelings towards you, I'm only doing this for him." Minji said

"But you still betrayed me!!!" I yelled.

"No one has to be harmed if you jus-" "Never. I'll never give it to you"

"Well then..." Jungwoo advanced near me while holding an iron bar. He hit me hard on my head with it. I stumbled backwards while holding my head. Minji inched closer to me with the dagger. She whispered a sorry and started stabbing me. I kneeled down, clutching my stomach in pain as it had started bleeding. Jungwoo started hitting me again with the iron bar making me groan. 

3rd person POV

"That should do it" Jungwoo stopped hitting him "Now let's bury you so that the police won't find out," He said to Taehyung's motionless body. He carried him outside with Minji following him. Jungwoo put him down, dug a hole on the ground and then laid him down in the hole and buried him. Then they suddenly heard the police sirens in a distance. 

"Shit, someone must have called the police" Minji panicked.

"Let's go away from here, fast," Jungwoo said and they ran to his car and drove away.

***End of flashback***

3rd person POV

"Ok, so you are Taehyung," Jin said.

"So you are a ghost?" Jisoo asked.

"Yeah"

"A real, live wait no I mean a real, dead actual ghost?"

"Jisoo-" 

"Wait no let me process it, you are a ghost. Oh my god. I'm sorry but I'm just, you know surprised and shocked and scared at the same time"

"I understand I would have felt the same if I were in your place" He chuckled and looked over at Y/N. She looked shocked and sad at the same time. She went over to him and hugged him.

"I'm sorry for what Minji and Jungwoo did" She cried into his chest.

"Hey hey don't cry, it was not your fault ok?" He caressed her cheeks.

"You're right it's their fault Taehyung. Now we just need to hand both of them over to the police. I'm gonna call a friend of mine who works in the police." He said and walked out of the room to call his friend. He came back after a while. "He's gonna be here soon"

"Don't worry Tae you will get justice" Y/N smiled and kissed him on his lips.

"Awww couple goals~~," Jisoo said making us giggle in embarrassment.
