Side 3 | An Unexpected Morning

In the morning

It's 6 a.m in the morning and Armin is already awake. Today is school off, so he has a lot of thing to do. Armin is stretching a bit in front of his house.

Today, he will start to do his new routine that he asked Eren about it.

Flashback: Yesterday at school

During recess, Armin is looking around the school for Eren. He has something to ask him about. He walked around and found Eren, lying on the field. He's with Jean and Connie. They seems like they are having a discussion. Armin walked to them and greeted them.

"Hey guys! What are you talking about?" he said.

Jean turned and greet him back. "Hey, we just talking about Sina High." Armin tilted his head, confused. "What about them?"

"Well, we think that they must have been planning to stab our back. It's a Reveallion!" said Connie making Armin laugh. "It's rebellion, Connie." Connie scratched the back of his head, embarassed while Jean laughing at him. Eren sat up and face Armin.

"So what do you come here for?" he asked.

"Oh yeah! I want to ask about how to improve my skill." Armin said. Eren nodded understand.

"I think all the things about you is okay, but maybe you should improve your endurance and agility." said Eren while Armin take out his note and write everything Eren said.

"For endurance, you have to build up your stamina. So, you have to wake up early in the morning and jog for at least 5 kilometres. You also have to strenghten your body, do a normal fitness training like push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups and anything else." explained Eren. Armin just keep writing without take a notice at the two arguing.

"And for agility, you have to use both stamina and strength. So, I suggest to wear a ballast everytime you training. As for me, I always had my ballast with me." said Eren as he pointed at his leg, showing a 5 kilograms ballast. Armin shocked with how heavy Eren has been walking around for the entire time.

"Well, that's all I can tell. Oh yeah! This Saturday, I want to gather the Titan Shifters top members. Make sure to come! Goodluck with your improvement!" said Eren. Armin smiled and stand up. "Thanks, Eren." He walked away leaving them alone.

Eren turned back, looking at the two who was dumbfounded. "What are you guys talking about?" asked Jean and Connie.

Armin opened his gate and ready to jog. "Let's start with 5 kilometres!" he said. Then, he start to jog.

After an hour, Armin reached 5 kilometres and stopped by at a convinience store to buy water. Then, he walk to a table and sit down. He gulped the water slowly, trying not to choke.

Suddenly, he saw a familiar figure from a far. He immidiately recognized who is it and shout out it's name. "Eren!" It was Eren who he saw. Eren turned his head to the calling direction and sees Armin waving at him, telling him to come.

Eren walked to Armin and greet him. "Hey Armin! I see that you have start the routine already. That's great!" cheered Eren. Armin just smiled and told him to sit. Eren without hesitate, sat in front of him. They chat a bit.

Armin took a glance at Eren's watch to see how far has Eren jogged. He suprised by it saying that Eren has jogged for 15 kilometres. Eren just said that's the usual distance he always jogged. Armin seems to be dead by that statement. "You're one hell of a crazy, man." said Armin making Eren just giggle.

Suddenly, the table they sat at was flipped. There's someone kicked it, out of nowhere. Eren looked at the man who caused it. It seems there's like 10 men wearing a leather jacket were there. They came to the convinience store to rob some money. Eren quickly analize what happened and stand up.

"Hey kid! Do you want to die?!" said the one who kicked their table while holding a bat.

*THWACK!

That sound of someone's getting punch was really loud. There's also a crack sound on it. The man who was holding a bat suddenly fell down. Armin was shocked by what happened. He can't believe that Eren's punch can be that scary. All the robbers from the inside came out to see what happened.

They went to the scene and picked up the unconcious man. One of them that seems like the leader grabbed Eren by the collar. "Hey bastard. Do you did this?"

*THWACK!

The same sound happened again. The situation is the same as before, leaving someone unconcious. Armin felt like hard to breath. He's so shocked about what happened. Eren start to walk to the group. He gave them an intimidating glance. The group was so terrified that they can't move a thing.

"Hey.Do.You.Want.To.Die?" his sentence makes the air more thin. All the guys was shivering in fear. Eren closed in to them and said.

"Be.Ready.Okay."

As soon as he finished said that, all the things that left was 10 men who was supposed to take money from the convinience store was lay down, unconcious on the road. Eren grabbed one of them and take of the man's jacket.

He bring the jacket to Armin. "Armin, is this the Twin Devils crew's jacket?" he asked while smiling. Armin quickly nodded as yes.

'What was that? I can't even see a thing! How can he done that to 10 men in a flash?!' thought Armin.

"Sorry to let you see that. Just forget about it, okay? Can you tell the others to meet up at 2, okay? I gotta go. Bye!" he waved to Armin while smiling. Armin just waved back, dumbfounded.

"What was that?" he muttered.

From a distance, there's a tall, blonde girl and a black guy witness all the thing that happened. It's Yelena and Onyankopon. They also suprised by what they just saw.

"Yelena. I think we should bail from this plan. I don't think I can do it." said Onyankopon while looking down.

"I know. I'm scared too. But you know what will happen if we bail out now? Do you want that guy to kill us? Like it or not, we have to just go on with the plan." said Yelena to encourage the black guy.

"That's a brave words, Yelena. But you also shivering." said Onyankopon.

"Shut up! I'm a girl, of course I'm scared." yelled Yelena. Then, they leave.

After what happened, Armin just jog back home. On his way, he overheard everyone talking about there's a guy roaming around, taking down the Twin Devils crew members. He just ignored all of that and went back home. After he bathed, he lay on his bed, grabbed his phone.

He open the line and start to chat the others, one by one to inform that today, they have a gather. After done telling them, he turned off his phone and set the alarm at 2 o'clock.

He's staring at the ceiling. His head now has a lot of thought.

About Eren.

About the mysterious guy who take down Twin Devils crew members in this state.

After all the thinking, he decide to clear up his mind....

"Maybe I'm just thinking too much."

....and went asleep.
