Act 28 | Scouting! Part 1

The scout team walked out the house. "Hi, my name is Armin Arlett! Hope this mission will go well!" Armin introduced himself to the 1-A Crew couple. "I'm Todoroki Shoto. Nice to meet you." Todoroki shakes hand with him. "Yaoyorozu Momo. I'm Todoroki-san's girlfriend." Yaoyorozu introduced herself. "Annie Leonhart. I'm Armin's future wife. So don't fall in love with him." joked Annie in her introduction. The four walked out and there's two people outside, waiting for them just like Eren said.

Armin approached them while chuckled. "So you guys are the one who will take us there, huh?" It was Yelena and Onyankopon who was set for the duty. The two nodded while smiling. "Let's go, shall we?" And they went on their way.

Annie and Yaoyorozu seems to get along well as they were chatting at the back. Armin and Todoroki also synced well. They seemed to planned out the mission. "Todoroki-san, in this mission, we have to avoid fighting as much as we can since we don't want them to aware our presence. We just have to find the secret factory that Yelena and Onyan told us and figure what they were doing." explained Armin as Todoroki nodded understand. He turned back to Yelena to ask something. "Yelena, will there really be a factory there?" Armin asked.

Yelena nodded yes. "There's absolutely a factory there. I don't know what's in there but they said that it's their business." she said. "Any ideas what's in there?" asked Todoroki. The pair rub their chin to think. "Maybe drug business?" said Onyan. "We're here." said Yelena.

At the border, there's literaly no one there to guard. "It just like you said earlier, Onyan. There's no one here." said Annie makes Onyan feel useful. Yelena handed out an envelope to Armin. "This is for the expense when you guys are inside. Use the money when you have to." she just repeat what Eren told her to tell Armin. He gladly take the envelope and put it in his slingbag. "Thank you, Yelena, Onyan. For taking us here." he thanked the pair and turned to his team.

"You guys ready?"

The three nodded and they went through the border to the Clover state. "Be careful. The state is more dangerous than it looks like." Onyan warned them and they leaved.

The four walked in an alley. "Yelena said if we went through here, we will be going straight to the city." Annie told them and when they stepped out the alley, it's true that they will enter the city. "This place is interesting. Right, Yaoyorozu?" asked Todoroki and they followed Armin, who was appointed as the leader of the team to search for a place to stay. They will be staying for 3 days for the mission. They walk around, suprised by the modern city of Clover.

After a while walking, they arrived at a neighborhood that were separated from the city. While they were searching, someone stopped them. "Hey! You guys are new here?" said the guy. Armin shakes hand with him. "Yeah, we were looking for a place to stay." They had to hide their identity from these people or they are doomed. "Oh! You guys looking for a place to stay? Want to come to my house?" the guy said. Without any objections, they follow him to his house.

"What's your purpose?" the guy asked makes the four confused.

"Pardon?" asked Todoroki to confirm if he heard it right.

"I know you guys are not from here. You know, the guy who lead this state will kill you if he know you guys here." the guy said. "Welp! If you guys don't want to talk here, we can talk it here." he said with a bright smile.

"This is my house. Come in." he said and they follow him inside.

"Pardon my intrusion-" Todoroki said as he entered the house, he was gripped lock by the guy.

"What do you  guys want?" he said with an intimidating glare.

The pressure he gave out makes Yaoyorozu's leg feels weak. Her knees gave out as she kneel down makes Todoroki kinda furious. "Yaoyorozu!" He struggled to get out from the grip but he can't. 'What the hell!? This lock is too strong!' he thought.

*PANG!

A pan was hitted on the guy's head, makes him passed out. "Don't treat a guest like that! How many times do I have to tell you?" shouted a woman from the back, caught the four attention. The woman look kinda scary but suddenly, she turned to a happy face. "Sorry that you guys have to see that! Come in and make yourself home. I will make the room ready." she said makes all of them confused.

"There's something wrong. It feel really weird, Armin." said Annie. They walked in to the living room and sat on the floor. The woman makes some drinks and gave it to them. "Don't be shy. Drink it all." she said. After felt it's really weird, Armin decided to ask.

"How do you know we were looking for a place to stay?" he asked.

The woman laughed and she looked at them with a smile. "Shouldn't you guys introduced ypurself first to the one who took you in?" she said with a smile, but there's something telling them that it's not a nice smile. After they break the ice, the woman finally opened her mouth.

"You guys are not from here, right?" she said makes Todoroki really suprised.

"What the hell is wrong with this family?! It's scary that they were able to tel-" he was cut off by a chill from behind. "Now, that's rude." It was the guy that was knocked out. He seems like he's ready to kill someone.

"Liebe, stop. Don't bother them anymore." said the woman while looking at her son. Liebe hissed and he sat at the door.

"Sorry for my son. He's always like that since-" she stopped talking when she noticed that all of them didn't pay attention to her. She's wonder why.

They all looks like they were in shocked. They heard something they didn't think they will heard. "L-L-Liebe?!" Armin shouted in suprised. "Liebe that once leads the Black Bulls?!" shouted Todoroki. "That Liebe?! Is that him?!" Annie was really in suprised. "Who's Liebe?" asked Yaoyorozu since she's not into the delinquincy world.

"Tch! You guys are loud." Liebe said.

From the back, the woman is laughing. "So you guys knew my son?" she said. "Of course! He's the guy that fight to conquer the Black Bulls in one month! But not crazy as Eren." said Armin with a shining stars in his eyes. Looking at them admiring her son makes her chuckled. "Well, I guess I'm the only who didn't introduce myself."

They were all now attracted to her. "My name is Lichita. Nice to meet you all."

And that's how they met.
