Act 55 | Unreachable

Before the Hashiras arrived, at somewhere in Musutafu State.

Eren ran along the road and he arrived at an under construction building. But it's familiar for Eren cuz' he has been here before.

It's the League of Villians base.

Eren entered the building and went up the stairs to the top floor. When he reached, there's only one door and it leads to the rooftop. He walked to the door and hold the knob.

"Here goes nothing." he said as he turned knob and pushed it opened.

The bright light of the sun is blinding his eyes. He tried to get used to it and he saw a man is standing at the edge. 'That's him.'

He took a step closer to the guy and he was immobilized. "Guhh!"

He didn't stopped on purpose but his instinct is the one who did it. Eren is analizing what's going on and at the same time, the guy turned.

"Oh! You're here." the guy with a slick back pinkish hair said.

His deep voice is making Eren feel chilly. He still can't move but he starting to understand why he can't. It's because there's a beast standing in front of him.

"What do you want, ...." Eren said as the guy walk closer to him.

".... Sukuna?" Eren finally said the guy's name.

It's Sukuna Ryomen, the other leader of Twin Devils. What in the world is one of the leader doing there instead of going to the battlefield. "Oh! It's nothing special."

"I just want to see the guy who dares to destroy us. But when I look at you..." Sukuna said as he stopped in front of Eren and went beside his right ear.

".... I feel disappointed." he continued.

He pulled back and put his right hand on Eren's left shoulder. "You should call it off while you still can." he said and walked to the door.

Eren just look at the floor, silently.

"You disappointed when you look at me?" he muttered makes Sukuna suddenly stopped. 'What the hell?' he thought and he turned his head to Eren.

Eren glared back at him. His heart now is full of hatred and anger. He feels like he can explode.

"Then, why don't we settle it here?" he said.

Sukuna flinched a bit as he felt a chill to his bone from what Eren said. He smirked and continue to walk.

"I will be waiting for you at the battleground." Sukuna said as he shut the door.

Eren just stand stiff. The sky started to turn dark and rains pour down. The aura around Eren is not normal. It's mixing with anger, fear, excited and all other feelings. People who see Eren in this state might getting scared for their whole life. But what makes it more scary is.

He smiled.

At the battleground

"Blarghh!!" Tanjiro groaned and take a knee while holding his ribs. But that doesn't stop Yuuji from beating him. He kicked Tanjiro's faces that caused him to flew away.

"Tanjiro!" Zenitsu shouted as he was about to rush to him but Genya stopped him.

Zenitsu look at him with a confuse looks. "This is his fight. We are forbidden to interrupt it." Genya said and Zenitsu punched him in the face caused him to fall.

"What the fuck are talking about, Genya!? He's dying over there!" Zenitsu yelled at him as Genya slowly get back up and still blocking Zenitsu's way.
