Act 41 | The Hashiras

Arc 4: Last Recruit

Zenitsu and Inosuke is flying on the roof to get to where the scream at. Inosuke used his senses to detect where they are and run there. They jump from a roof to a roof really fast like a bird flying free in the air.

They both stopped at one place to focus detecting again.

"Monitsu! Follow me!" Inosuke said as he ran to the border and Zenitsu followed him.

They both looking for the person but can't find it. "Oi Inosuke! Are you sure this is it?" the blonde hair guy asked. Inosuke is grunting cuz' he think that he make a mistake. But then, Zenitsu heard something.

He followed where the crying sound is while Inosuke just go with him. "It's outside the border..." Zenitsu said as he look at Inosuke.

They both know that they can't help anyone from outside. But suddenly, Inosuke ran out the border. "Oi Inosuke! Don't go!" Zenitsu tried to stop him but he didn't listen so he went with Inosuke. "Why are you so stubborn?" Zenitsu groaned, his friend can't even follow a rule that was fixed for them.

"I felt someone dying." Inosuke suddenly said makes Zenitsu worried.

Without waiting, he start to focus to hear where the crying sound is again and they found it. They ran to an alley and see a guy is dying on a girl's lap. They both rush to them and asked what happened.

"Miss! What happened?!" Zenitsu asked in worried as he's checking the guy.

"We were ambushed here by a guy named Muzan! Please help him! I'm begging you!" the girl while crying said makes Zenitsu and Inosuke felt pity to them.

'This is really bad... This guy is bleeding non-stop. What should we do? Jii-chan....' thought Zenitsu of what will his grandfather do in this situation. And suddenly, Inosuke picked up the guy. "What are you doing?" the blonde guy asked.

"We can't leave them here. You take the girl. She's also injured." Inosuke said as he walked away.

Zenitsu look at the girl. "Haihh.. Hop on my back." he said and carry the girl on his back. They walk together to border with two injured person in hand. 'He will not mad, right?' Zenitsu thought and suddenly, the girl poked his arm.

"What's your name?" she asked.

"Call me Zenitsu."

"Thank you, Zenitsu. For willing to help us." she said makes Zenitsu heart fluttered.

"What's your name, miss?" he asked.

"Mikasa." she said and Zenitsu chuckled.

"You're welcome, Mikasa." he welcomed her.

They both talked about things to calm down. Inosuke also joined in as he also bored.

Until Mikasa asked.

"Are you guys the Hashira?" she asked makes them stopped walking. Inosuke look at her. "How do you know?" And they continue to walk.

"Cuz' you guys are wearing an animal mask." Mikasa responded makes them realized that they still had the mask on. But they still wouldn't take it off cuz' it will exposed the identity.
