NATASHA ALIA SINGHANIA
A sense of disappointment engulfed me upon realizing that my friends were also part of Rohan's plan. I couldn't comprehend why they were attempting to set me up. The last thing I wanted was to be in a relationship, especially with Rohan. Despite his perfection, I knew he was a heartbreaker, and the prospect of an on-and-off relationship was something I couldn't bear. I loathed the idea of my boyfriend looking at other girls; it was a deal-breaker for me.

Without wasting any time, I decided to fly back to Washington DC. Coincidentally, I was in Canada for a job interview with the architectural firm whose advertisement I had photographed on my way to the wedding. Ms. Nitya Rao, the owner, was renowned for her intelligence, hard work, and honesty. The Raichands had spoken highly of her, and I hoped to secure a position. I only informed my family about the trip and nobody else not even Raichands. Whenever we go to Canada we inform them and stay with them but this time I don't want to inform anyone about this.

The receptionist announced, "Ms. Natasha Alia Singhania, please go inside. Nitya ma'am is waiting for you." I nodded and entered the room.

Nitya welcomed me, "Have a seat, Ms. Singhania. So, tell me about yourself. You're from the diamond merchant family, right? I've heard a lot about your family from the Raichands; I'm close to them." I smiled weakly.

"Yes," I began, "I'm Natasha Alia Singhania, the daughter of business tycoon Yashwardhan Singhania. I reside in Washington DC, USA, with my family. I graduated from Yale School of Architecture in New Haven, Connecticut." I continued answering her questions, hoping to make a positive impression. After a while, she spoke,

"Congratulations, Miss Singhania. You've got the job, and I'm genuinely impressed. You have a bright future, and I can see that. You can join after a week, and I believe that's enough time for you to make the move." I nodded happily.

"Thank you, mam," I expressed my gratitude.

We shook hands, and I exited her office. Excitement surged within me, prompting me to call Gautam bhai immediately. I shared the news, and he conveyed his heartfelt congratulations, urging me to head to the airport and fly back home. Following his advice, I rushed to the airport and boarded a flight home.

Upon reaching home, we celebrated my achievement, and my family was overjoyed for me. Their support, maturity, and understanding meant the world to me. I cherished the moments of joy with my loved ones.

Truly, I am surrounded by a family that is not only loving but also supportive. I adore them all.

Soon I moved to Canada. Gautam bhai helped me a lot. Pratik Tauji bought me a car in Canada as a gift from him, Savita Taiji and Karan bhai and Kriti dee. The penthouse where I was staying in, was at the heart of Toronto. Working with Nitya ma'am and her team was a delightful experience, and I found joy in my newfound professional life. Toronto proved to be a welcoming city, and my office was a convenient 30-minute drive from my residence.

2 Weeks Later

I knocked on Nitya ma'am's cabin door. She welcomed me in, "Come in."

I entered, "Nitya ma'am, all my work is completed for today. What should I do now?"

Nitya ma'am informed me, "From tomorrow, don't report to me. Report directly to your new boss, my client. I'll assist you whenever required. You'll work with him from tomorrow. I showed him your designs and your other work; you're brilliant, and he's really impressed. Don't let him down. All the best. Stay in touch."

"Okay, Nitya ma'am. I really enjoyed working with you; you're great," I expressed my gratitude.

"Same here, Natasha. Thanks," she replied, taking a call.
