A Month After The Diwali PartyROHAN DEV RAICHAND
I found myself in the dining room as the maids promptly served breakfast. Natasha joined me after an eventful night that spilled into the morning. Our impromptu outing with Nitya and Sameer, a visit to 'Tandoori Flame,' and a mix-up with drinks led to Natasha staying overnight. I didn't want to leave her alone, so she ended up coming home with me upon my insistence.
Seated in the dining room, I awaited breakfast, promptly served by the maids. Ten minutes later, Natasha arrived.
"Good morning, Ronny boy," she greeted.
"Good morning, Alia babe. Come have breakfast," I replied, and we shared a morning meal.
Leaving the mansion, Kabir inquired about our destination.
"I'm taking her on a Toronto tour," I announced.
"Great, have fun," Kabir quipped with a smirk, earning a glare from me.
In the car, Natasha asked, "Where are we going?"
"I'm going to show you good places in Toronto," I replied.
"Today it's your turn, but next weekend it's my turn. We'll do a one-night stay there. I'm sure you'll take me to good places, but not the one in my mind. It's my favorite place in the whole world. You'll love it too," Natasha declared.
"I'm gonna cover every good place, and maybe the one in your mind is among them," I countered.
"We shall see, Mr. Clueless Raichand. I want you to call Sammy, Daksh, and their girlfriends, and Oleg, Henry, Katie, and Eric," she instructed.
"Here, take my phone and text in our WhatsApp group. Ask them if they'll come or not," I said.
After a few minutes, Natasha reported, "Everyone is ready to come, they're curious and excited too. I told them to keep their passports and USA visa."
"That's good. But why US visa?" I questioned.
"You'll come to know, bff. Now let's focus on today. Come on, take me to good places."
I took her to the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto Island, Casa Loma, Art Gallery of Ontario, Ripley's Aquarium of Canada, and High Park. Our day concluded with lunch at the CN Tower's revolving restaurant.
Later, at the theatre, we watched a romantic comedy film with humorous, kissing, making-out, and sex scenes. Lost in thought, I contemplated whether to kiss Natasha, fearing it might jeopardize our friendship.
"Film was so good, you know. I loved it. I like rom-com films. Thanks for the lovely day," Natasha expressed.
"Yes, it was very nice," I replied, hiding my internal struggle.
"You seem to be lost. Is something wrong, Ronny boy?" she asked.
"No, no, everything's perfectly okay. Don't worry. Now let's drive back to the mansion," I smiled.
"Yeah, let's go."
NATASHA ALIA SINGHANIA
Rohan took me to some incredible places in Canada. Lunch at the CN Tower's revolving restaurant was simply amazing. We chatted extensively, delving into various aspects of our lives. I genuinely enjoy his company – he's not just a great guy but also a wonderful friend. Post-lunch, we visited a park and then headed to the theatre to watch a romantic comedy film that had us in splits.
The film wasn't just funny; it had its fair share of intimate scenes. Suddenly, my mind started playing tricks on me. I found myself imagining Rohan and me in the lead roles, reenacting the passionate scenes from the movie. It was strange, and I couldn't comprehend these unexpected feelings. Why the sudden urge to kiss Rohan? What was he doing to me? Shaking off these thoughts, I returned to reality.
I remarked, "The film was so good, you know. I loved it. I like rom-com films. Thanks for the lovely day."
Rohan concurred, "Yes, it was very nice."
Sensing Rohan's distraction, I asked, "You seem to be lost. Is something wrong, Ronny boy?" He appeared to be in deep thought.
Rohan assured me, "No, no, everything's perfectly okay. Don't worry. Now let's drive back to the mansion," accompanied by a reassuring smile.
I agreed, "Yeah, let's go."
As we settled into the car, Rohan took charge and drove us back. In a brief lull, he inquired, "So, tomorrow, when will you go back to your penthouse?"
I replied, "Post-lunch," and he nodded.
After a moment, I proposed, "Rohan, give me a chance to show you Washington DC."
Rohan, having explored much of the city, commented, "I've seen most of it. You need not show me. It's quite an old-type city."
Challenging him, I retorted, "Don't you dare say that next time. You don't know anything about it. I have wonderful places in my mind to show you. They may not be visually stunning, but the peace and the emotions they evoke are beyond amazing. I love my Washington DC and Mumbai more than any other city in the world. I don't really like it here in Canada, but due to this job and friends, I'm fine here."
Rohan conceded, "Okok, you show me Washington DC," with a light chuckle.
Upon reaching the mansion, Rohan parked the car and, seizing the moment, leaned closer. I closed my eyes, anticipating a moment between us, but alas, his phone rang, disrupting the tension. Frustrated, Rohan stepped out of the car. I followed suit and rushed straight to my room inside the mansion.
I grappled with the unanswered question: why was I feeling this way? His influence on me, his touch, his smile, his handsome looks, and his drop-dead gorgeous, hot, sexy, and muscular body – why did I become weak after seeing him?
The looming uncertainty echoed in my mind as I pondered the ultimate questions:
WILL I BE ABLE TO FIND ANSWERS TO ALL MY QUESTIONS AND BE PEACEFUL?
WHY AM I SO CHANGED?
AM I IN LOVE WITH HIM?
