4 Years Later

Four years had passed, filled with the most beautiful moments of marital bliss. Natasha, my wife, embodied all the qualities one could dream of—a caring, romantic, loving, kind-hearted, sensitive, smart, intelligent, and undeniably sexy partner. Her unwavering support during my toughest times had made our journey even more meaningful. Every opportunity I got, I showered her with love, ensuring her happiness remained paramount. She had infused my life with color, and together, we reveled in our shared romance, our bond unbreakable. While occasional arguments arose, they were rare, overshadowed by the overwhelming love that enveloped us.

Our abode was the family mansion in Toronto, where we resided with Dad, Mom, Kabir, Dakshita, Samaira, Ajay Chachu, and Nandita Chachi. Occasionally, we sought solace in my penthouse on weekends, cherishing moments of privacy. Our family dinners, a weekly tradition, brought us together with Vivek Tauji, Madhu Taiji, Mihika, Soham bhai, and Aashi. Natasha and Aashi, both thrilled to be part of the same family after their marriage, relished the frequent gatherings. Soham and Aashi often stayed with Vivek Tauji, Madhu Taiji, and Mihika, fostering their bond in a mansion just minutes away from ours. They also indulged in "we" time at Soham bhai's penthouse, strengthening their connection.

Our ventures in the hotel and construction industry flourished, while Natasha soared as one of the world's best architects. Her partnership with Nishi Shah and Nitya Raval had launched her own firm, a source of immense pride for me. Recently, I noticed Alia's fondness for babies, evident in her interactions with Soham bhai & Aashi's daughter Piya Raichand and Nitya & Sameer's daughter Krithika Raval, two adorable infants. Her playful demeanor with them, especially with her nephew aka Nik Nisha's son Vivaan Singhania, indicated her deep affection for children. Her desire for kids was palpable, although she jokingly brushed off Nisha's inquiry about our plans.

Currently, we found ourselves in my penthouse, where I attended to my emails while Alia prepared dinner.

She entered my study, radiating a newfound glow, and announced, "My dear husband, dinner is served."

"Thank you, darling. I'll be right there," I replied, engrossed in my work.

Minutes later, I joined Alia in the dining room, greeted by a lavish spread. Pasta, garlic bread, spicy Indian-style vegetable rice, and dhoklas adorned the table, accompanied by a bowl of nachos and guacamole dip.

Puzzled by the extravagance, I inquired, "Babe, is there something special about today?"

Alia blushed, her glow evident, and replied, "Yes, let's eat first. I'm sure you're hungry."

As we savored our meal, I couldn't help but notice Alia's excitement. After dinner, we settled on the couch, with Natasha resting her head on my chest. "Dinner was delicious as always. You're an incredible cook, babe," I complimented, planting a gentle kiss on her lips.

"Thank you," she replied, but her mysterious behavior intrigued me. "We usually keep dinner light. Why the feast today?" I probed.

"I don't know. I just felt like it," she responded, evading my question.

Unsatisfied, I pressed further, "That's unusual. Is there something you're not telling me?"

With a smile, Natasha revealed, "I went to the hospital today."
