ROHAN DEV RAICHANDI was getting ready for the Sangeet ceremony when my mom, dad, and Kabir entered the room.
My mom complimented, "You're looking so handsome, my Ronny."
Kabir added, "Yo, my dashing bro!" and gave me a high five.
My dad kissed my forehead, saying, "You're looking so handsome, my boy. I'm sure all the girls who'll come tonight are going to fall for you. They'll go crazy."
My grandparents joined the scene.
Grandpa praised, "Wow, my son, you're looking so handsome. Very good, my boy, very good. When are you going to bring my daughter-in-law home, Dev?"
Grandma chimed in, "You're already 28, my boy; you should think about your wedding."
Kabir smirked, and I gestured for him to stop, fearing my parents and grandparents might catch on to the truth. The joy on their faces will reach another level when they find out about my plans to marry Natasha and how much I love her. Yes, I'm going to propose to her on her birthday next year.
I chuckled and deflected, "Yes, yes, I will. How about finding someone in Soham bhai's wedding? By the way, what are you all doing here? You should be with Soham bhai because it's his Sangeet today, not mine..."
My mom playfully smacked my shoulder, saying, "How rude, Rohan." I laughed. We all proceeded to Soham bhai's room.
While walking towards Soham bhai's room and glancing at Natasha's photos on my mobile, I couldn't help but marvel at how cute and stunning she looked. I couldn't imagine my life without her; she completed me in every way. She's mine and will be mine forever. Excitement surged within me at the thought. Suddenly, Urvashi called me. I asked the others to go ahead, assuring I'd join them in a few minutes. Closing my phone, I walked towards her, and she promptly pulled me into a nearby room, closing the door.
Curious, I inquired, "Why did you pull me into this room, and why did you close the door?"
She smirked, replying, "I've got to tell you something."
Eager, I questioned, "What?"
Urvashi spilled, "I've noticed that Natasha and Siddharth are very close. I think Siddharth really likes her, or more than that. You may never know; maybe he might even propose to her. I guess Natasha likes him too."
My blood boiled. I hated even hearing his name. However, I trusted Alia and our relationship. I retorted, "Look, Urvashi, I'm warning you. If you're trying to create problems in our relationship, then back off. It's never going to happen. You're not going to succeed. Please, you've improved a lot, and you've changed. I could see that genuineness in your eyes. That's why I became friends with you. I see you as a good friend, that's all. Talking about Natasha, she loves me, and I love her. I trust her a lot. Even if that bastard is hitting on her, she will not entertain him. I know my Alia. She is mine in every way."
I exited the room, feeling a bit shocked. I didn't want to believe whatever Urvashi had said. I felt conflicted about whom I should trust. She was still someone I couldn't completely rely on.
Ishaan called me, "Rohan, we're getting late. Where were you? We have to reach before the Singhanias arrive."
I replied, "Coming, bro." We headed to the venue.
NATASHA ALIA SINGHANIA
I got ready for the Sangeet, and then Kriti dee and I helped Aashi dee get ready. Rachna chachi came to the room and complimented, "Come on, girls, we have to reach the venue. The Raichands have come, and the guests have started arriving."
