The chapter dedication goes to @AwesomeDragonTamer for being so supportive. I'm glad a great writer like you likes my book!

Why? I thought. If I could, I would bang my head repeatedly on the stone beneath me. Sadly, I don't have the energy to do so. Plus I'm already wounded enough as it is.
"Baka! You should've stayed outside, then we could've attacked from both ways!" I heard Sasuke shout. I wished I could nod my head in agreement.
"Why are you getting mad at me?!" Naruto shouted, oblivious to the fact that I'm right behind him, practically dead. "You should be thanking me! I came in here to help you!"
"Idiot!"
Naruto spun around with a humph and crossed his arms. That's when he noticed me.
"Ah!" He bent down and looked at me with concern. "Kasumi, what happened to you? We need to get you out of here quickly!"
"If you stayed outside, then we could've given her the medical treatment she needs!" Sasuke came up behind Naruto. Before the blonde could retort, I interrupted.
"Shut it," I growled hoarsely. "Both of you try to work together, at least until I regain some more energy."
"You won't be fighting anytime soon," Haku told me. I looked at the closest one in the mirror. "I've hit your pressure points with my senbon. You're paralyzed."
"Crap," I muttered. How could I be so useless? I should've tried harder. There could've been another option.
"Don't worry Sumi-chan, I'll get you out of here!" Naruto promised, and I widened my eyes at the nickname Rosie gave me. Speaking of Rosie.....I think I heard Naruto say that he just came from saving those guys. A smile lit up my face. I'm so relieved!
Naruto put his hands into the familiar hand sign, and with a POOF, his shadow clones instantly appeared by his side. But when they charged, Haku simply threw a large amount of senbon towards them, and they vanished with another poof.
"Eh?! It didn't work?!" Naruto cried.
"Idiot," I heard Sasuke mutter.
As Naruto continued- and failed- to fight Haku using his clones, Sasuke stood off to the side, analyzing the battle with his calculating eyes.
My eyes widened as I felt a burning sensation build up in my chest. I coughed harshly for almost a minute, and with each cough the burning sensation worsened. My eyes had been screwed shut due to the pain, but I opened them to inspect what I had coughed out. And, just as I had expected, the familiar red liquid was right in front of my face in a small puddle. My throat felt dry, and I could feel the rest of my body numbing.
It's probably the senbons, I thought. Haku did say that he hit my pressure points. But still, I shouldn't be shutting down like this.
My eyelids grew heavy, and by now, my entire lower body has been numbed. But I could still feel the blood coming up to my throat. With another coughing fit, more blood spilled into the puddle. My vision blurred, and I could faintly hear the battle going on around me. All I could see were blotches of colors, and even that's starting to blur out.
Suddenly, something landed right in front of me. I could see a mass of dark blue.
Sasuke? I thought worriedly.
A ringing was heard in my ear, getting louder by the moment. Then, everything stopped. Nothing was heard, nothing was seen. For a moment I thought the battle had ended. But that was too good to be true.
