(Kasumi's POV)
Someone was shaking me. I grunted and turned over. Whoever was shaking me chuckled and shook me again. I whined and pulled out the pillow from under me to hit whoever was shaking me. I smiled in satisfaction when I heard the person grunt.
"Kasumi," the person grunted as he stood up. I smiled. Haku. "Please don't give me a hard time. We have to go out and get supplies."
I laughed and suddenly launched myself into Haku, knocking him back into the ground.
"Morning," I laughed as I looked up at him. He smiled and patted my head.
"We have to go into the village. We're running out of food," he informed. I sighed and stood, holding a hand out to him, which he gratefully took.
"Do I have to wear my disguise?" I asked, not looking forward to it. When I used the disguise yesterday, I felt very uncomfortable. Like I was wearing someone else's skin.
Haku shook his head.
"No. Not a lot of people know of us. We can just go like this, though I suggest you stick by me. If we see your friends, then it'll mean us having problems."
"Fine," I sighed. I stretched then shooed him out of the room. I started changing into the blue kimono that Haku gave me and wore my regular ninja shoes. After, I walked over to Rosie and gently shook her. She groaned, just like me. I huffed and put my hands on my waist.
"Only I am allowed to do that Rosie," I jokingly said. I poked her cheek before saying, "Haku and I are going out to the village. You stay here, but stay out of trouble. I mean it."
She nodded and went back to sleep. I chuckled and exited the room, smiling when I saw Haku waiting for me on the opposite wall. He smiled back at me and took my hand. I blushed and turned my head to the side a bit.
"Let's go," he said. I nodded and walked along with him. His hands are warm, and they feel soft like a woman's, yet it still has a bit of masculinity in them. It's actually a very comfortable feeling. The kind of comfortable I feel when I'm with dad.
I frowned. Haku noticed and gave me a concerned look. He made a left, entering the village. I sighed and looked around. The village isn't that great. It's shabby, and most of the buildings are already starting to fall apart. The citizens aren't any better. Their clothing's torn and dirty, and their skin's also dirty. From the looks of it, they're pretty hungry. They may even be starving. I frowned even more in pity.
"Why is it...." I trailed off. Haku caught my drift, and looked around.
"It's been like this ever since Gato took over," he replied. I shook my head.
"Why are you even working for him? From what I can see, you and Zabuza don't really care for him," I pointed out. Haku sighed and entered a shop.
"I wish we don't have to, but we need the money. Now, I'm going to get the supplies. Go ahead and look around if you want."
He let go of my hand and walked to the front counter. I sighed and looked around. The store's not really that special. The supplies are hardly stocked up, and even the limited supplies here look like trash.
"Excuse me," said an unfamiliar males voice from the front counter. I turned around curiously. The man has raven black shaggy hair with brown eyes. He's pretty tall. I'd have to say he's as tall as dad. His attire's just a black cloak.
"I need some money," he continued, "Can I trade in this katana?"
I walked over to the counter and stood next to Haku, who stood on the man's left. The shop owner looked over at the man.
