(Kasumi's POV)
I was lying in bed, resting, when I suddenly heard a scream. My head snapped in it's direction. I wanted to go and check it out, but I can barely move. My wounds are still raw.
After a couple of minutes, I heard a door slam shut and footsteps echo in the hallways. I listened to the retreating footsteps and the currently approaching ones. My door creaked open and Haku's head peeked into my room.
"Complications?" I asked with a smirk. Haku laughed and walked towards my bed, holding a bundle of clothes.
"Zabuza-san needs to heal, so I'm going out to get some herbs. You need to come with me so I know you won't try to escape," he informed. I scoffed and pointed to my stitches.
"I won't go anywhere with this sort of injury," I said. Haku smiled and handed me the bundle. I unraveled it to reveal a simple blue kimono with a white trim.
"It's beautiful," I marveled. Haku smiled at my face and indicated for me to put it on.
"If you want me to put it on, you'll need to get out," I pointed out. Haku nodded and exited my room. I locked the door in case he tried anything funny. Hey, he may be a nice boy, but you never know.
I struggled with the kimono, seeing as a single movement sends a shock of pain throughout my body. Eventually, I finally had it on right. Sighing in relief, I unlocked the door and stepped into the barely lit hallway. Haku stood across my door, wearing a kimono of his own. It was pink with a floral design, and his hair was down, making him look like even more of a girl.
"You look pretty," he complimented. I blushed lightly and rubbed the back of my head. "In case we run into any one of your friends, you need a disguise. A genjutsu or transformation jutsu could work."
I nodded and placed my hands in the hand sign for the transformation jutsu. My hair changed from silver to dark brown and my eyes shifted from grey to a peculiar gold. My figure also changed. It's less curvy- not that I had that much curves in the first place- and I grew about three inches shorter. Haku nodded in satisfaction and grasped a basket, which I now noticed was placed on the floor. He led me out of the hideout and into a forest.
We made it to a clearing which are full of herbs, but in the center lay a very familiar blonde. The dimwitted Naruto Uzumaki. Haku noticed me looking and eyed me warily.
"I won't try anything, I just want to talk to him. I miss him," I said. Haku's eyes softened, but he still held his guard up.
"Go ahead," he told me, "but I won't hesitate to hurt him if you do anything funny."
I nodded my thanks and walked over to the sleeping blonde, who's snoring away like he's never slept before.
"You'll catch a cold if you continue to lay there," I softly spoke, making the blonde spring up. He eyed me warily before breaking out in a grin.
"Hi! I'm Naruto Uzumaki, the future Hokage! Who're you?" he asked. I chuckled and shook my head.
"My name's Ai, no last name," I told him. He put a finger to his chin in thought.
"You're very pretty," he suddenly complemented. I smiled, though, I wonder if he would say that about my regular appearance.
"Thank you Naruto-san," I said. Wow, this facade is really irking me.
"No problem Ai!"
Haku started walking towards us, capturing the blonde's attention.
"Whoa," he breathed, "she's beautiful."
