Chapter 23- Some Weird Fights

(Kasumi's POV)

Sasuke and Yoroi are both standing in the center of the room, glaring at each other. Sasuke's wincing in pain, though he's trying his best to hide it. I can see his shoulder quivering from the pain.

Yoroi dug out some shurikens from his back pouch and threw them towards Sasuke. Sasuke, seeing the shurikens coming, took out a kunai and deflected them easily. Suddenly, Sasuke dropped down to the floor. Yoroi, seeing Sasuke's weakened state, disappeared and reappeared next to him. Yoroi slammed his fist down into the ground, just where Sasuke was a second ago.

Sasuke quickly used his kunai to swing himself around and grabbed ahold of Yoroi's leg, causing Yoroi to trip and fall. Sasuke grabbed Yoroi's arm and held it tightly. His legs were keeping Yoroi on the ground by pushing on Yoroi's neck. It looks like a very uncomfortable position, but is extremely efficient. Yoroi couldn't move his body.

Or that's what I thought.

Yoroi grabbed ahold of Sasuke's shirt. His arm is enveloped in chakra, from what I could see.

"What?" Sasuke gasped as his grip weakened. "My strength is fading?"

Sasuke completely let go of Yoroi's arm, and Yoroi's arm came down on Sasuke's stomach. Sasuke coughed up blood as Yoroi jumped to his feet. He held Sasuke down and gripped his forehead, his hand enveloping in chakra once again. My eyes narrowed as I could visibly see Sasuke's energy fading away.

"Sasuke!" Sakura gasped in worry as she took in the sight of her "love". Naruto gripped onto the bars of the railing harshly. I glared harshly towards the disguised Orochimaru. I know what he's planning. He wants all of Sasuke's energy to fade away so he has no choice but to use the curse mark. Well, not on my watch.

"Fight Sasuke!" I shouted as I cupped the area around my mouth.

Sasuke growled at Yoroi.

"Oh you...son of a...!"

Yoroi was suddenly launched away as Sasuke threw him off of his body. Sasuke's body was already drained, and it is now clear to anyone that he's having a hard time keeping his body from quivering. His eyes roamed the arena until they landed on Lee for some reason.

"You picked the worst time to let your mind wander!" Yoroi shouted as he ran towards Sasuke, his left hand gripping his right, which was once again enveloped in chakra. "Now I'm going to absorb all of your chakra! This is the end!"

Just as Yoroi reached Sasuke, the raven-haired Uchiha hefted himself up and kicked Yoroi right in the jaw. My own jaw dropped as I instantly recognized the technique. I glanced at Gai, who looked just as equally surprised as I am.

As Yoroi went soaring in the air, Sasuke appeared under him and placed two fingers on his lower back.

"It's over," he spoke.

"The Dancing Leaf Shadow?" Yoroi exclaimed in surprise.

"Eat this!" Sasuke shouted. He suddenly winced in pain as his curse mark pulsed. He coughed up blood, making me cringe. I could see his curse mark glowing and flame-like patterns travel up to his neck. Dad tensed beside me, as did Anko from what I could see. I got ready to jump over the railing, but thought otherwise. I cupped my mouth and shouted, "Fight it Sasuke! You can do it!"

My words encouraged Sasuke. The flame patterns retreated back into the curse mark, and he went back into action. His leg came up on Yoroi's left side. Unfortunately, Yoroi saw this coming and blocked it with his left arm. But, Sasuke smirked and turned around, slamming his arm into Yoroi's unguarded side. Sasuke whirled around and once again punched Yoroi down. Just as they were both about to hit the floor, Sasuke swung around and slammed his heel into Yoroi's stomach while shouting, "Lions Barrage!"
