The moonlight pooled into my open tent. I couldn't sleep. After all, my aching muscles and sore stomach seemed to take away any thought of rest. Also, there was a full moon tonight. I love them. Mom and I used to spend the night together, keeping the window open just to stare at the moon. It brought back so many memories.

It's been about six days since I began my training, and I still haven't gotten used to Obaasan's merciless way of training. It's really taking a toll on my body. Luckily, I have a break on my seventh day, which is tomorrow. I'm excited to explore the village that's near. Despite me spending six days here, I haven't set a foot in the small village.

I sighed and broke out of my thoughts. I stood up and made my way out of my tent. I closed my eyes and breathed in deeply, soaking up the wonderful moonlight. The wind softly blew all around me, caressing my skin gently. My short hair slightly moved along with the wind. I found myself wishing to speak to anyone at this moment, just to distract me from the pain due to training.

Both Obaasan and Shizune were asleep, all my friends were back at the Leaf, and Itachi told me he's going to be busy on a mission Pein assigned him to. He couldn't come even if I were to call him right this instant. Besides, even if he could come, I'm sure Obaasan would catch him.

With boredom, I pulled out my katana and marveled over how well it looked in the moonlight. I softly stroked the blade before thrusting my weapon out in front of me. I whirled around and slashed at the air. My sore abdomen clenched, causing me to wince and tenderly rub at it, my blade lowering slightly. Sighing, I sheathed my blade and sat down on the ground.

"I'm so bored," I sighed. I laid my back down on the ground and sighed once more. The wind blew across my lax figure, and now that I didn't have a blanket on, it was quite cold. I shivered.

Mom, I thought. When can I see you again? Of course I can go into my Spirit State, but I can't go into your mind without you here.

I blinked. That's right, I've been so focused on working on my physical state, that I haven't been practicing my Spirit State in a while.

I sat up and rubbed at my chin. "I wonder if there's a way I can use my Spirit State and my body, both at the same time."

My eyes widened and a smile crept onto my face. "Of course! I can use it simultaneously, that way I can have double the power! Plus my Spirit State is quiet. That'll make towards a great advantage."

I smiled wider and hopped onto my feet, pausing to rub at my sore abdomen, before clenching a fist in front of my face.

"Let's see if it's possible," I nodded in determination. "Wish me luck, whoever's willing to."

I sat back down and cut a small slit in my palm, transferred the blood to all of my fingertips, and formed the hand seal.

"Activate!"

Tsunade smirked and watched as her disciple slumped to the ground.

"Fool," she chuckled as she walked over to Kasumi's body. She tenderly picked the silver-haired girl up and walked over to the girl's tent. Tsunade placed Kasumi down in the sleeping bag, zipping her up.

"You'll get a cold if you stay out here," Tsunade scolded. "And what's with you activating your Spirit State at this hour? Do you expect me to take care of you?" Tsunade shook her head. "Just because you're doing your own training doesn't mean I'll take mercy on you. Never."

The blonde laughed and ruffled up the silver locks of the girl, knowing that the said girl would dislike it. Tsunade walked out of the tent and into her own, lying down on the mat and tried to get some sleep.
