I was standing in the Lodge apartment with Betty. More and more people came. Even our mother came. It was really cute how they hugged eachother but that was ruined by the Blossoms coming through the door. Nana Rose read the gender with such a chain. Besides a murderer, we also have witches now. I was standing by Jughead's side when Archie suddenly walked in. Archie went to Jughead and said something. We all went to the two of them quickly. "Did you know Jughead's father is a serpent?" "No." "Yes." The three looked at me in shock. Archie just shook his head. "That's why you and Kat stopped me from going to the bar. So I wouldn't find out. After everything my dad has done for you." "Archie, I can explain, okay?" "Not right now. This is Polly's day. So you two need to check yourselves. I mean it." Veronica stopped them. "Archie." "No, save it." Archie left again and Betty went back to the others. I hugged Jughead and told him that everything would be fine.

Shortly after, the party broke up. I went to the bathroom and made my lipstick new. When I got back Mum, Polly and Betty were talking. I sat down on one of the couches. "You want me to come home?" "More than anything, honey." "Yeah, but what about dad?" "Your father.." "Need's to accept it." "Are you sure he's not just gonna try and make another appointment for me?"We looked at them all questioningly. "Appointment?" I asked. "What are you talking about? What appointment?" Mom asked. Polly looked at her in surprise. "Before you sent me away, dad made an appointment for me to see a doctor. Said that he would be more than happy to pay for it. That I shouldn't have to live with my mistake." We all looked in shook at her. "Oh, my god." "He didn't even ask me what I wanted."

I was sitting at a table in the cafeteria with Betty's friends. "Anyway, enough drama. Betty, you were saying something about Jughead's birthday?" "Yeah, just that Mr Jones told me Jughead's never had a birthday party. Let's have one for him. Like, a low-key suprise party." "No." "That's a fantastic idea." "Jughead doesn't like his birthday." "That's a bad idea." I said. "Everybody says they hate their birthday. Nobody means it." "Jughead is a lone-wolf." "Okay, ignoring the negativity. Betty, you know me. Any excuses to wear a cute party dress. Okay, so I'm thinking a quaint gathering. Inner circle only."

That's why I ended up here. At Archie's house while we waited for Jughead and Betty to show up. I still think it's a bad idea, but it was Jughead's birthday, so here I was. I didn't understand what Kevin's boyfriend and Ethel were doing here, because they are definitely not his friends. And who planned this at all and why did I agree to it. "It's a double feature, do I have time to go to the bathroom?" "I'd hold it, Ethel." The door opened and the others called Suprise. I stood in the kitchen and made myself something to drink. It wasn't Jug, it was Veronica. "Do I look like Jughead to you?" "Oh, Betty texted me, They're almost here." "You've met Joaquin, right?" "I haven't had the pleasure." "Also, I thought it was inner circle only tonight?" Veronica discovered me when I came out of the kitchen. "Archie do you have anything but old man alcohol? Do you own anything like beer?" "Beer is in the bottom of the compartment in the refrigerator." "Hey Kitty Kat." "Hey V." I got a beer while the others continued their conversation. "They're really coming this time. Everybody hide." Ethel said. "Surprise!" Everyone wished him Happy Birthday and then Betty sang, which was really scary. 

I was sitting on a sofa and drinking from my bottle when it got louder outside. The door opened and Cheryl stood right in front, behind her our whole grade. "Did you really think you could have a party without inviting moi?" "Or me?" Oh god, Chuck. "Archie, where do you want the kegs? Everyone looked to Archie and after a short moment he just said: "Screw it. One in the kitchen, one in the backyard." Everyone cheered. Jughead went wherever. I stopped Cheryl when everyone went in. "What the hell is this about?Why do you have to ruin his birthday?" "Just because you were my brother's best friend doesn't mean we're friends." She ran past me while I felt tears welling up in my eyes. Cheryl was one of mine Best friends and JayJay would have liked us to stick together."

I wanted to go into the kitchen to get a drink when I saw FP. What was he doing here? I went back to Veronica when she looked after Joaquin and FP in shock. "What is that Serpent doing at a high school kegger?" Veronica asked me and Kevin. "Are you serious? You don't know, Veronica? That's Jughead dad." "Really?" Kevin pulled Veronica with him while I leaned against the wall.
