A maid came and got me just like Oliver said. As we walked down the halls, I took in my surroundings since I wasn't pay attention during the tour. I noticed some small things that made this place beautiful. The paintings that covers the walls, each telling their own story. Colorful plants that scattered the halls bringing life at each turn.

When we made it to the dining room, I saw who I'm assuming is the king and queen, and Oliver all seated. When Oliver noticed me he stood from his seat and approached me.

"You look beautiful." He greeted with a smile.

I giggled quietly, "I'm wearing the same thing you saw me in earlier."

"You still look beautiful." He then offered me his hand, and I took it. He then led me over to the table where everyone else was sitting. "Mother, Father, this is Seraphine." I curtsied slightly when he introduced me before taking my seat.

"So Seraphine, how are you liking my kingdom so far?" The king started.

"It is very lovely so far, I can't wait to see more of it."

"You will see more of it during events leading up to the wedding."

"If you don't mind me asking, when is the wedding?"

"Eager to marry my son I see," he chuckled lightly, "The wedding will be two weeks from today. As for the events, there will be a ball in two days, and multiple trips into different parts of the kingdom so that the people can get to know there future queen, and you can get to know the lay of the land. On the last week family will start coming in for the wedding and there will be some events for that as well."

I feel like I should be writing this all down. There is obviously a lot to do before the wedding. I don't know if I can keep up with everything, and the king could see how I was reacting to this.

"Don't worry dear, everything is all ready planned out. All you need to do is be there and look like a beautiful princess."

Beautiful princess. I almost forgot how people only care about how I look and act rather than what I have to say.

Oliver and the king became engrossed in their own conversation no longer acknowledging me. I tried paying attention in case they ask for my opinion on the things they are talking about -which was very unlikely-, but it was all politics so I wasn't really intrested.

"Where is that girl? Oliver have you seen your sister? She's late for dinner." The king grumbled. The mention of Octavia peeked my interest. Only now did I realize that she wasn't here.

"I don't know father. Although, we did see her earlier today but I don't know where she went off to after."

As if on cue, Octavia came in through the doors. "I apologize for being late, I got caught up working on-"

"Octavia you should know better than to be late. This is the third time this week. Next time you are late, you will be punished."

"Yes father.." she mumbled. She lowered her head at his words as she took her seat. I never thought I'd see her defeated like this.

She looked up and caught me looking. She then flashed me her devilish smile, her defeated look now long gone. I kept my gaze with her wondering what she's planning on doing. I regreted my choice when she winked at me making me blush.

I looked away from her and focused on my food for the rest of dinner, feeling her eyes on me occasionally.

Once dinner finally ended, Oliver escorted me back to my room.

"Dinner was delicious, I'm so glad that I was able to join you and your family."

"I'm glad you were able to join as well."

The rest of the short walk was filled with an uncomfortable silence. When we reached my door, he grabbed my wrist preventing me from going into my room.

"Seraphine.. I uh," he paused for a moment, trying to figure out the right words. Instead of finishing, he pulled out a small box from his pocket. "Here."

I took the box from his hands and opened it. Inside was a silver braclet with saphire gems. "Do you like it? I wanted to get you something but I had no idea what to get you, so I was worried you wouldn't-"

"I love it, thank you Oliver." A smile spread on his face. I gave him a quick hug before backing into my room and closing the door.

Why did you hug him Seraphine?? That wasn't appropriate. Although we are engaged. But he probably doesn't like you like that yet. But he did give you this braclet. Do you even like him though? Because with the way you look at Octavia says otherwise.

No no, stop. I took a deep breathe and shook my forever running thoughts from my head. Lets not think about this right now, its only your second day here afterall.
