When my mother and I walked out to garden, the first thing I noticed was all the beautiful flowers that scattered the grounds. There were roses, sunflowers, marigolds, pansy's, and so many other colorful flowers.

There were tables under each of the willow trees for shade, all the set the same. There was also a tent with a few thrones inside that I assume are for my parents and Oliver and Octavias parents. Some of the family members were already out here mingling with each other. They seemed to be having a good time.

As we continued, off to the side where there weren't any tables, I saw Octavia playing with some kids that are probably her little cousins. They were all running around her tugging at her dress and then running away. She had a few flowers in her hand and pretended it was a weapon and started chasing the children with it. I couldn't help but watch in adoration.

"Seraphine." The sound of my mothers voice tore my attention away from Octavia.

"Yes, mother?"

"Lets go over to the tent and talk with your future in-laws." she replied, gestering over to the big white tent in the back.

When we got there, my father, King Edward, and Queen Amber were already in there. My father and my king were already having a conversation that seemed kind of serious. "So Edward, you have everying ready for this evening?"

"Of course I do Thomas. We have to make sure things like this never happen in again in either of our kingdoms."

"Dear.. Isabella and Seraphine are here." Amber interrupted.

"Welcome ladies," the king started, "please have a seat, we are just waiting for my tardy son to arrive." he grumbled with an annoyed tone.

As if on cue, Oliver walked through the flaps of the tent out of breath. "I apoligize for being so late. I got caught with something and didn't realize it was already time for the party."

"That is no excuse son, I know I have raised better than that. A king should never late."

"I'm sorry father, it won't happen again." He then took a seat next to me.

Our mothers started to talk about the wedding. They discussed all of the decor, the theme, my dress, the food, anything and everything you can think of that would be at a royal wedding.

I glanced over at Oliver who seemed to be zoned out and lost in thought. I wonder if he's thinking about the other man. We both are in a major situation that we need to talk about. I hope that we can figure something out.

I was snapped back into reality when Queen Amber started to talk to me. "So, Seraphine, Oliver, any special plans for your wedding night?" Geez.. that's very straightforward of her to ask such a thing.

"Really mother.. don't ask Seraphine such things that is very personal."

"Oh hush now. She is my future daughter in law and mother to my grandchildren, I should get to know these things!" Queen Amber retorted.

"Now dear," the king interrupted, "let them keep this to themselves. After all I don't think all of us want to know anyways."

"I'm sorry, but may I be excused? I am quite thirsty and would like to get something. Maybe I could also go and mingle with the relatives." I said quickly, not wanting to continue talking to them.

"Of course dear, I think that would be a great idea for you to meet with your future relatives." my mother chirped.

I got up from my seat, curtsying before walking out. I looked around for an empty table, and when I spotted one I when straight towards it and sat down. I leaned my head against my hand, letting out a sigh.

A few moments later, I felt cool droplets hitting my face. I turned towards where they were coming from the see Octavia sitting across from me. I frowned at her and turned away from her.

"Is something wrong?" Octavia asked, lowering her glass.

I shrugged.

"What's going on?"

"I just don't want to be here anymore," I answered curtly.

Unfazed, Octavia scooted closer to me. "Do you need someone to talk to? I'm sure I can get us out without anyone noticing."

I sighed and put on a fake polite smile. "No, I just need to think about some things right now." I got up and started to leave.

"Seraphine," she said quietly. I stopped in my tracks at the sound of her voice and turned to face her. "Have I done something wrong?"

I hesitated. Should I tell her about the things that were just said? Should I tell her about her brother? Should I ask her about the same sex couples? Should I tell her that I'm scared about the future? I was about to let everything spill out when a voice for me from behind us.

"Seraphine!!"

We turned, and a few of my cousins were standing there, gestering for me to come over to talk. "I better go.. they can be a real pain if they are kept waiting." I then quickly walked away before she could say anything in return.

When I reached them, I was immedietly ingulfed into a big hug from them.

"We've really missed you!"

"Its been so long since we've talked!"

"You look so beautiful!!"

All three of them starting talking over each other like they always did when we see each other. "I've missed you guys too. It is great to see you again. Come, let's sit over here in the shade and catch up."

They nodded eagerly in respone and followed me to an empty table that was off to the side. When we all took our seats, I was finally able to get a better look at them.

Jillian had her dark curls tied up into a bun, and she was wearing dark red dress that made her tan skin and hazel look even more beautiful. Abigail had her hair half up like I do, and she too was wearing a red dress but hers was a different shade and strapless. Finally there was Mary who wore her hair completely down, and was wearing something similar to Jillian and Abigail. As triplets, I'm not surprised they dressed the same.

"So Sera," Abigail started, "tell me all the details about your stay here, including the ones with your extremely attractive future husband." All three of them started to giggle as they looked at me, waiting for me to start.

"Well there really isn't much to say, I havn't been here long. Although I do love the palace grounds here. Everything is absolutely gorgeous. Before you got here there was a rebel attack but don't worry, I was escorted to a safe room. As for Oliver there isn't much to say there either. We go on walks occationally, we danced once, and that's about it."

"Oh boo!" Jillian yelled, "There has to be more than just that."

"I don't know what to tell you. Everything has been surprisingly calm since I have gotten here."

They stared at me for a few seconds before starting their own conversation about something random. I ended up tuning them out, getting ungulped by my own thoughts.

I wonder what the king and my father were talking about. I'm sure that I already know of all the events that are going to be happening, and there shouldn't be anything happening after this.

Oh well. I will find out then.
