Adama's point of view.
I sit down, thinking while Qahhar slept beside me. I love Qahhar for loving me the way I am, not caring whether I can have kids or not but I do want kids.
How can I have kids? I'll research about it and talk to Qahhar about it. I glance at Qahhar, he is looking better than a week ago.
"I'm not dying!"
Jabir's words ringing in my head. We'll fight that too, I'll look for something that can delay his symptoms.
I laid back, looking at him. I don't think I can take the pain of Qahhar's separation if the time comes which I hope isn't anytime soon.
I place my hand on his face, adoring every feature on his face. Honestly, Qahhar is the best looking amongst the men I've been with, dated and married.
His eyes opened, looking at me. "Adama." He calls my name, his voice slurring. "Hmm?"
He places his arms around me, pulling me to his bare chest. I could hear his heart beating.
I hug him, closing my eyes. "What's wrong?" He asks, the slur still present. "Nothing."
"I'm not going to sleep till you tell me." I chuckle. "I'm thinking about us."
"What about us?"
"Everything, you know."
"Mhmm."
"I'm thinking of us going to a resort after the checkup. We should go for the checkup tomorrow."
I lie before looking up at him and he was already asleep. I kiss him on the lips lightly before I stood up and wore his long white shirt. I take his laptop, researching about children and the leukaemia medicine.
I place my index finger in my mouth, biting it. In vitro fertilization (IVF).
IVF is for women that have problems with birth. It is said that the patient has to have a sperm donor and fertilizing the egg then implanting it into the body.
That would definitely work! I continue checking and it seems to be perfect. I need to check whether my eggs could be used.
I search about what could delay Qahhar's symptoms. Gleevec. I research more about it and it seems reliable but 30℅ of users have some symptoms.
I look at Qahhar who groaned while sleeping. It is better than death. I check more on it on leukaemia & lymphoma society.
Qahhar's point of view.
I sit up immediately I woke up, leaning on the headboard. I stretch my arms, noticing Adama's absence.
I stand up, walking to the bathroom to brush my teeth and rinse my face after wearing my sweatpants. I brush, glancing at how Adama fixed up the the bathroom with some decorations and carpets.
I smile, rinsing my mouth and face. I use the hand towel hung beside me to dry my face. I walk out, wondering where Adama has disappeared to.
I'll check up on her downstairs. I take one of my shirts, wearing it while I walked down the stairs.
I enter the parlor as I saw her holding a tray. She smiles widely, placing it on the carpet.
"I was about to take it to you but I guess you're already awake." She walks towards me.
"Yeah, I was wondering where you were." She looks up at me. "Came downstairs to fix you up my signature breakfast dish." She tip toes before I leaned in to kiss her.
