It has been three months since Qahhar's injury. He has been discharged and now taking that gleevec. He seems to be improving now, the paleness is basically non existent. He eats salad but I am flexible sometimes.

Also, we've been on that IVF stuff. The eggs has been retrieved, the sperm has already been collected, we chose the gender, removed genetic disorders and the embryos has been transferred to my uterus.

I look at the ceiling, rubbing my tummy while taking deep breaths. "Are you still there? What are you doing?"

Qahhar walks in taking off his blazer and loosening his tie. "I am laying down, it is said the chances are better when lying down."

He sits besides me, smiling. "Well, the banana's are downstairs. In bunches." He stands up, walking to the closet. "Thank you."

"So what did the doctor say?"

"Its hatching in the uterus, if it goes well, I'll start experiencing symptoms of a pregnant woman." The thought of that thrilling me.

"That's good." He says from the closet. "What about you? How work and everything?"

"Its great, I'm heading to another meeting. The project has clicked and you wouldn't imagine who I saw."

"Who?"

He walks out of the closet, buttoning his shirt. "Remember those couples we met at the hospital?"

"Yeah, sabeeha and Aisha." I sit up unknowingly because i was so curious. "I saw their husbands. We talked more to the one that wasn't blind and the one that was blind still acts blind. He's so good that he acted like he didn't know me."

I smile. "He's used to it now but I wonder whether he knows she's cheating on him. Anyways, how did you meet?"

He tucks in his shirt. "We met in an investor's meeting, it was interesting." He put on his blazer.

I stand up. "Well, that's a coincidence. So, is Fayadth coming over for dinner with his wife?"

Qahhar scoffs. "I'll ask him but I doubt it." I tilt my head. "Yeah, he's an extremist. I heard she's a vlogger." Qahhar narrows his eyes. "What is it?"

"I never told you she was a vlogger."

"Fine, I used to watch her vlogs, well I still do. Its interesting. Don't judge." I shrug innocently.

"I hope they stay together peacefully." He takes a pile of papers, flipping through them. "Amen and I hope she releases another episode."

He turns to look at me. "I told you I enjoy it."

"I'll head out now, don't forget to eat and don't forget to call your mom. She said she couldn't reach you." He kisses my forehead.

"What? My....". I pick up my phone seeing her missed call. " I didn't hear it." I follow behind Qahhar. "Yeah, you throw your phone everywhere and forget where it is."

We walk down the stairs. "In my defense, I keep it and forget." He stops my head hitting hits back.

"Every time?" He turns to look at me. "Sometimes." He smiles, leaning down to my face. I roll my eyes, smiling. He kisses me as I place my hand on his groin area. He keeps his file on the console close to him before he carries me.

I pull away, smiling. "You should go to the meeting, you're going to be late." He places me down, rubbing his eyes.

"You did that on purpose." He takes his papers. "Come back home safely."

He holds the door knob. "I will, Insha Allah." He opens the door.

"Okay, bye." He closes the door, I wrap my arms around my waist. "Where should i do to entertain myself?" I walk away.

Qahhar's point of view.

I sit thinking about how Adama teased, I chuckle at how petty she is. "Why are you smiling by yourself?"

Munir takes a seat beside me. "Are they done yet?"

Munir sighs, clenching his jaw. "No, they're there wasting time. I have things to do." He says in an aggravated manner.

"Likewise." I look at the woman who stood outside the glass door, on a phone call.

"What do you have to do?" I shift my eyes to him as he looked at me like I'm lying.

"Are you married? When you get married and have children, you'll see how hectic it is."

"Who says I'm not married?" Munir slowly looks at me. "When?"

"Four months ago."

He smiles. "The honeymoon and early pregnancy phase." He laughs.

"What about it?" He leans back on the chair like me. "Its all sweet before she gets pregnant. Pregnancy makes her cranky, emotional but also very interesting." He rubs his chin.

"Really?"

He nods. "Yes and there are road bumps but after you see your child, its all worth it and more. I have never loved anything or anyone more."

"We should meet up sometime." I suggest. "That seems like a good idea. I can't believe three people here are broken birds. Me, you and that wannabe blind guy. What's his name again?"

"I don't know."

"I hope we get over it, they're here." A man with a suit comes in.

"We came to invest in your company and you leave us here. I don't know about the others but I find it highly offensive. We all have things to do." Munir complains with a strict and firm tone.

"Highly unprofessional, I am contemplating whether I've made the right decision." I add.

"I apologize for taking long, I apologize to all of you."

"We'll be travelling next week but immediately we come back, we'll come over. I assure you." We shake hands.

"Okay, get back safely."

"Insha Allah, see you when I see you." We parted ways, I walk to my car. I held the handle, pulling it when I felt a sharp pain in my leg.

I groan, entering the car. What's going on? I clench my jaw and fists, tightly because of the pain. It never hurt like this.

I place my head on the wheel, closing my eyes.
